Didn't Liverpool's goal come after or a few plays after they got a free kick for udogie's challenge where he got the ball?

If it was can we take that goal off, give them the other one and they still lose 2-1. Never going to go like that, but would be amusing

Shall we follow it up with the Son goal which wasn’t offside against them from a few seasons back? That was essentially the same error. Correct me if I’m wrong.

It just stupid, you would have replays of most games with questionable officiating…this will open a can of worms that would in fact destroy the League…..just cause diddums got the rough end of the stick this once.

Hope they lose the league by 2 points this year.

Just imagine if the refs said you know what, not touching a Liverpool game, they are toxic and I don’t fancy being sued to placate their fans.

Be kind of amusing.

I wonder how that would be resolved. Would be kind of hilarious but a nightmare for the premier league to sort out.

Well it's pretty clear what we must do now after that Liverfool official statement - we have to win the title! By no more than 3 points, 2 or 1 ideally :D

Oh... my... days. Can you imagine? 🤣 What glory forever!

A mistake was made.

That’s all that happened.

What a fucking mash-up of nonsensical victimhood, partisanship and pompous sanctimonious bullshit spewing out of Liverpool because a mistake was made. As if it’s never happened before. As if no one but Liverpool had ever suffered a mistake going against them.

Bollocks to a replay unless every mistaken decision will be dealt with in the same way.

Omg they can't be serious in coming out with such a statement. For a second I actually was checking if the account handle has a tick and not some spoof account, and yes, it does has a gold tick.

Ffs, a serial winner of all sorts and they actually came out with such a sore loser of statement over a stupid offside call. It's sooo ridiculous I can't even laugh but feel sad for them - that the management of such high profile club is so small time and poor in crisis communication, if there was any crisis at all.. Jesus.

It’s not a good look right now is it.
It doesn’t look good, but buggar me they’d have to be the stupidest fucks in history to take a bribe and then just purposely ignore a clear offside in front of millions of viewers and hope no-one would notice.

This has made my day 🤣😂🤣

Their fans did the same and wanted a replay when they lost the CL to Madrid where Ramos took out Salah which resulted in Salah having to go off injured. Mentioned it before but some of their fanbase can really be an odd bunch at times and don't think you see that kind of thing to that extent from fans of other clubs.

Yeah, I don’t think they’d be so obvious. Especially a day after returning from UAE.

This probably won’t go down well, and as much as I can’t stand the bloke I thought Klopp took it pretty graciously in his interviews after the PGMOL statement came out.

This is clearly the American owners pushing this with their daft ‘sue for literally anything’ culture.

Apropos the actual bloody match. I didn’t see it yesterday so watched it back today. From the prevailing narrative I was expecting Liverpool to be dominant for at least the 11v 11 part. But they really were not: if anything we edged it, though the main impression was of a cracking game between two good teams. We created the Richie to Kulu chance at the back post, and they forced the double save from Vicario. Then of course they had a player unjustly dismissed by secret agents working for the UAE and the rest is history…..
We were the better team and deserved to win but that doesn't fit the Victims FC narrative

Agree, cannot imagine Klopp happy with the owners right now, especially after Chelsea buying all their transfer targets.

I agree. Countries should not be allowed to own clubs and if you’re an official in the premier league, then it should be English games or uefa games and that’s it.

Then the richest league in the world should pay their refs more. There are reports that the Saudi League is willing to pay 300k+ a year for top European refs to move there full time.

I'm sure Liverpool in the spirit of this will also offer Bournemouth a replay following the penalty they were awarded in that game.
