Not good enough again. Can't put together a coherent 90mins. Really worried how this season will go now. Arsenal miles ahead of us. Hope to have a good winter transfer window and a strong second half of the season, but we won't catch them now.

Much better second half. First half the reason we haven't won anything for christ knows how long. Big games, big individual mistakes. Every time!

Great to see Kulu back. Made a huge difference as soon as he stepped on the pitch.

Think on balance I'd rather we went for it from the Kick Off and try to manage the second half than keep gifting the opposition 2-0 head starts and just falling short.

Again, the fitness shows, but we can't keep doing this.

Great to have Deki back though. Him and Doc do have good chemistry.

The negativity is getting boring! We are quite clearly a work in progress. Top 4 this season while building towards next season would be a win for me.

Agreed, I’m so sick and tired of the same posters posting the same thing over and over again.

Can’t fault the heart and effort of this team, but the quality is sorely lacking right now. Our goal came from one of the few bits of real quality and composure we showed around the box. Hopefully Deki being back will help, his impact was immediate and obvious today. Ultimately, once again we are left to rue blockheaded decisions from one of the usual culprits giving and our bewildering trend of a listless and awful first half performance

Over the 90 mins we were by far the better team in my opinion and that was with all our players out. Dier cost us badly but I'm not feeling too discouraged.

Considering the players we had out, we’ve played surprisingly well and deserve something out of the game.

Despite the naysayers, there’s reason to be optimistic for when the season restarts after the World Cup and even more so if we can bring a couple in this coming January
The first half was rather poor. We lost the game there!

Never ever been one for football conspiracy theories but just can't help but feel that ref wanted to do Liverpool a favour on some level. Don't think he was paid off, but he was definitely not reffing that evenly.

Whether it was subconscious bias, not wanting to seem biased towards the home team or some other reason... just felt like he was giving us absolutely fuck all and bottled every big decision.

That Liverpool team is bang average. Should never have given them a 2 nil lead. Similar to United game. Both poor sides but we handed them the game. Bit of fight in 2nd half but ultimately first 45 cost us yet again.

Are we not able to sustain such high energy of attacks for the whole 90 minutes? We can be just as entertaining, if not better, than the scum playing the 2nd half for the whole game you know.

Much better 2nd half, the Kulu effect is real, Doherty far better going forward than Emerson, Bissouma looking class, poor ref decisions didnt help and unlucky at times, ultimately poor defending cost us though. Just win next weekend and go into the world cup in top 4 then we'll be set nicely for the rest of the season. Need players back from injury and Kulu far more involved the rest of the season.

We played much better today while losing than a lot of matches we've won. And I'd also say Liverpool played much worse today while still finding a win than in most matches they've gone on to draw/lose.
Yeah but if we had a fit son, Romero Kulu we win that

This Liverpool team will lose alot more games. Like United, it irks me seeing how we can lose to such shit.

We had the chances to win that game, and should have had at least one penalty. It’s frustrating yes, but we were never going to be able to make those changes until later in the second half anyway. It was obvious Deki was only fit to play half an hour.
