Dont see why so many of you are upset with Dele for showing frustration at that performance when we've all been fucked off with it ourselves. You all cry when the likes of Eriksen look like theh dont give a shit and then complain when a player shows he actually cares.

No way can you tell me he was any worse than anybody else out there during that first hour, we set up negatively and the players suffered for it.

Because he doesn't show that same passion on the pitch. He fannys out of challenges, ducks under headers when challenged and then does something a bit petulant and everyone goes "yeah, well done Dele, great shit-housery". It's all good throwing a tantrum on the bench but the harsh truth is that he hasn't been good for a long while now with his little purple patch when Jose arrived aside.

Well this is how he’s set teams up in big games for the past 5-10 seasons mate so what did you expect?

Thought he was supposed to have a new approach. We don't have the defensive players that he has had for the past 5-10 seasons. So no point trying to park the bus with this team. We have been outplayed in almost every game in the past few months. Not just the big games. We need to try and control games better. We are parking the bus but still giving up a lot of chances.

Played alright for about 20 minutes.
But you just can't be that rigid and passive for the other 70, against teams like this. They just ran rings around us.

How do you expect him to play? He's not going to play open expansive football against Leipzig like we tried v Bayern and got pummeled. It was clever tactics tonight to sit in and try and counter. Unfortunately we couldn't manage to hold the ball up top much but that's down to the players he has, like I said.

Our defence isn't good enough to hold off a quick attack either without having some element of protection in front of them either. Playing open football or even short passing moves is not an option right now. Clearly the players are still lacking in some confidence.

Surely you play to our perceived srengths.

Making the game physical is not 1 of them.

On todays judgement of style, tactics, instructions to the players he clearly has not got it and was luck in the game v villa
We created about 20 chances v Villa and if not for Reina in goal we'd have won 8-2. It wasnt luck that we beat Villa. We ground them down until they made a mistake

Who said he’d have a new approach mate? He’s not changed for years, I didn’t expect anything else but 100% agree with these players it’s a weird way to play as doesn’t seem to fit what we have.

Our strengths are playing on the counter with Bergwij and and Moura right now. Except we dont have a player who can take the ball down and give it to them.

I think anyone expecting anything different at this stage of the season are being a bit unrealistic. We've been missing Kane for a large chunk of the season, Son is out, one of our major signings can't last 90 minutes, the other has only recently started playing well after overcoming a series of niggling injuries and two have only just arrived and are still finding their feet. That's without the negligent squad management, allowing certain players to virtually draw their pensions and all that.

That means players who wouldn't usually be picked are being asked to do what they obviously can't do. Players who would usually be picked are being asked to do too much and there's a cloud over the whole club that's been there since the CL Final.

People persist in lurching from player to player, pointing the finger, why isn't so-and-so playing, lets take a punt on playing him, why not give that one a go etc etc, this one is shit, that one is shit and none of it makes any difference. People were complaining about our attack today but did anyone really think we were going to create chance after chance with Kane and Son out? We struggled enough with the fuckers in the side yet still, there were people simply unwilling to cut any slack. And people are judging Mourinho now, seriously, now. Laughable.

We having a nightmare season. Its obvious to all but a few that there is no magic fix. We just have to get through it, the sooner the season is over the better.

What we're seeing now is largely what we're going to get until May so get used to it, things aren't going to magically improve, all some of you are doing by keeping on expecting something different is driving yourselves closer to an epic Yankspurs style hissyfit. Large doses of pragmatism are required now.

We need a solid pre season, a re-set and a fit squad with any arrivals being sourced early (fat chance of that one), get rid of one or two, sign some quality and we won't be that badly off. Until then all we can do is grin and bear it.
