Guys, that was so stressful that I drank my whole bottle of wine and now i'm too tipsy to make dinner.
Soton away. Man u awayWas that the first game won from a losing position this season?
Moura was doing well as a number 10 before Jose decided to move him and drop Toby and BaleIf Kane's back another option is to put Lo Celso deeper and play Lucas behind Kane.
Fair play to Chris Coleman.
I know the commentator was half-joking when he made the 'big-six' joke but Coleman easily swiped it away with a 'let's not go there'
Take notes, Gary Neville
You could also say the same for Kane missing giving them a liftI think we stepped up second half, but turning point was Ings going off imo, gave us a lift and their focal point and threat was gone .
I don’t really get the Coleman hate. He’s not a world class co commentator but he’s perfectly fine. Better than most of the Sky ones.
Yeah, but that's how football works, difference tonight is we actually tried to win and got what our second half performance deserved.Just to make it clear, we were lucky tonight. Could’ve easily draw or lost that one.
I agree. Maybe the first time I've heard him (don't normally watch on Sky), but I enjoyed listening to him; perhaps not always accurate, and full of gaffes, not to mention verrrrry Bale bias, but an entertaining commentary.I don’t really get the Coleman hate. He’s not a world class co commentator but he’s perfectly fine. Better than most of the Sky ones.
Really enjoyed the match tonight.
Think the players did too.
Who'd have thunk it, we can win, lose or draw a match.Just to make it clear, we were lucky tonight. Could’ve easily draw or lost that one.
we were 0-1 at St Mary'sThis is what we were missing for 18 months! Pressing and showing intent up to the last second, not hanging back and soaking up pressure.
Our first comeback win from behind this season as well iirc? Well done, Mason!
One thing I'd say is that he looks less calamitous next to Toby. Calming influence.
I think it's only the 2nd match I've watched with him on, but I find him very refreshing. He doesn't want to hog the mic and overplay his role like some co-commentators, and when he does speak he's measured and generally insightful.
