Almost all those players would get walk in the wolves team, and we are also at home.

Just want to see us play on the front foot

Those intense poch training sessions over the years has broken everyone. Im joking of course but the injuries we keep racking up is insane.

Toby has looked poor recently but has there ever been a goalie who misses as many games as Hugo . Illness or injury , who knows. At least Gazza has had plenty of games this season.
Wolves are notoriously slow starters so we’ll have to get at them early.

I'm not as against the team as everyone else here, but our avenue of attack seems fairly predictable - Lo Celso only - and therefor a priority to stifle. With Toby on the field he offers a different avenue with his passing.

It's going to be interesting one way or another.

Incoming 0-0.

I mentioned in regards to Lamela like how the hell do our players get injured like when and how.

Too many to be just unfortunate.... this has happened for a while in our squad and some of them arent even during games... what the hell is going on with our medical staff and more pertinently our training regime

Unfortunately Lamela is crocked. Influential when he plays but will always be suspect to an injury at any moment.

We're playing horribly without suffering any real spankings. That ends today, 4-1 Wolves or some bullshit.

Win, lose, or draw today, taking the first step in moving on from Jan and Toby is the right decision. Neither physically look up to it anymore. We should cycle through all our other CB options for the rest of the season and see if any can stake a claim, find form, build partnerships etc. In truth we should have been doing this months ago.

Patrico better than Gazza,
Moutinho and Neves better than Dier and Winks
Jimenez better cf than Lucas
the rest are debatable

You may have a point there. A lot of our players have had 5 years of Poch training. Dembele said in an interview last year that he had to leave because the training was killing him.

They're knackered after 5 years of high intensity double sessions. The same thing happened to Klopp's Dortmund and every team Guardiola has managed.

I'm actually glad to see Toby and Jan dropped as I don't think either have really been good enough for some time. Kick up the arse for both of them and two young, quick and talented defenders in the starting lineup is fine by me. Dier in midfield is a concern though.
