Barely seen Troy in any of the training videos. Hope he didn't get injured again.

Yup, now confirmed. Groin injury for Troy. He really can't catch a break.

The academy players who made the cut for the tour.

Dane Scarlett
Josh Keeley
Alfie Devine
Harvey White

I hope the only reason Matthew Craig has been left out is because we're lining him up a season long loan. It would do him the world of good.

It would make sense as his just signed a contract so you would think there is a plan in place

It would be nice to see a couple of these players stay and earn minutes this season.

Its always a tough balance between first team training and regular minutes.

Would've thought with the new contract and apparent promises made the Mikey Moore might be training with the senior team and even possibly go on the tour. Obvs too young, maybe they have other plans in the short term.

Assuming he's still at school?

Shame for Donely, would have been great to see him get minutes on tour

Unless Jamie had really caught Ange’s eye, it’s difficult to see that he would have made the cut for the plane. It’s already a big travelling squad and no-one who hadn’t trained as a member of the first team squad before this season was selected (apart from Keeley and that’s presumably because they wanted four keepers for training). Craig, John and Santiago, all sitting on new multi year contracts, all left behind.

to be honest its a ridiculous squad that has gone probably 9 of them are players we would gladly see the back off and that doesn't include Hojberg some of the younger players would benefit from the experience

Along with Jamie Donley, told George Abbott (Torn Quad), Matthew Craig & Rio Kyerematen are also out injured.
Do you know if that's as a result of a more rigorous training regime under Ange, where he wants more dynamic football rather than passive players used to?

I really feel as though our youth have the absolute worst luck with injuries. Always injured at key pivotal moments.
