I am at the Lamex. Got here late so no idea on team. Nothing on either club’s website. Again show how shit our club’s website is. Nobody around me has any idea on players. We are 2 nil down at halftime. Our goalkeeper is very poor. We are playing out of defence like our first team did last season. No names on shirts unfortunately. Stevenage are a bigger side. Ground half full and no beer in the away end. Just seen a few spurs fans asking to be let out and where is the nearest pub😂

Unfair on the keeper, he’s been told to play out from the back and there is a complete lack of movement in front of him every time he gets the ball. The midfield is far to open and no one showing for it which isn’t helping then keeper.

To be fair it was that and no movement from the defenders to pass and move. Also his positioning for some of their chances was questionable

I'm glad to see the youth teams are playing the same style as the first team. It's going to take time to adjust.

They also lost to a team of men, not sure what's embarrassing about that.
Who happen to start their season next week too. So should be way ahead of our youth team.
Not embarrassing at all.

Our youth product is hopelessly behind all of the other top 6 clubs, our academy frankly is embarrassing.

The best player in 10 years since Kane is either Harry Winks or Oliver Skipp and the only other legitimate PL talent in Madueke and Edwards left for pennies due to horrific mismanagement. Yeah we should be embarrassed. We have the best training center in the country and our youth product is hardly above the standard of most Championship sides.

Lyons-Foster, White, John, Robson and Santiago aren’t exactly boys, for all of them this is at least their third season at U21 level, while Devine is supposed to be a first team squad player. This is the standard of team they are expected to play against in the FA Trophy, so it’s not great. Hopefully a lot of it is down to still building fitness, but for a while now our U21 side has seemed less than the sum of its parts.

I thought a lot of it was down to tactics. We left one man isolated and over ran in MF with the other 2 midfielders to far up and wide not influencing the game. We had so much width but didn’t use it once and there was zero movement.
