FT 4-3 loss. Extremely disappointing second half performance, couldn't make the extra man count and even went behind after the red card.

We play them again next week in the league this time away.

Let's hope for more next week, but we were in control at 3-1 up

Second give away just seemed to knock stuffing out of the team - and from that point on we were 2nd best despite numerical advantage

We looked to play as individuals rather than a team when they went down to 10

Thing is with u18 and u22, the squads change so much.

I juries are pretty rife due to growth, and then players can go through the ages, so they manage the loads or minutes so teams change all the time.

It’s just one of those days tbh, the spurs boys can still get through.

my lad lost to United, but beat saints today, a game against wolves will determine whether they get through the next round, like the spurs team (who should win)

Parrot on as sub in 72nd minute and scored in the 85th. Excelsior losing 4-2 at home to PEC Zwolle.
His goal to minute ratio must be quite decent?

Edit: Just checked. He’s only played 89 minutes total, so 3.03 goals per 90. Small sample size, but you’d think he should be starting games with that record.

I thought that as well. Looking at the Excelsior team they have a lot of forwards but Parrot is 2nd top scorer with 3. Parrot is the only one on loan though.
