I couldn’t properly watch it but whenever I managed to have a look I didn’t see any of the new boys except Richarlison? I know Leglet didn’t travel but I didn’t see Perisic or Bissouma

Injured and unwell so missed the game

Ahh ok thanks

To add, Perisic is recovering from his injury at the end of the previous season. Latest reports say he's making progress and should be back with the first team soon. How soon, no idea. But it's not something he picked up recently.

What did I learn from that.

Some good minutes for all involved
Son and Sarr are going to get blast from Conte for their job in the wall for the third goal.
They must dye the grass green
Commercially Korea must be a gold mine for the club when they are supporting one player over their own team.

That's about it.

What seems surprising to me is how many spurs fans we seem to have there, not just Son fans

Not really a fair comparison as White was playing for the last 20 minutes and the K-league team was down to 10 men. Harvey did well but he's not a LWB, he's only covering since Perisic isn't ready to start.

Ofcourse..I am not saying play White in LWB for the season Just saying, he did quite well, defensively & offensively when he came on in a position not his own. You could see that, this 20min mattered to him

Sess will know he has to improve. I have been harsh on him today is because I expect more of him. He has to give genuine competition to a world class LWB in Perisic. To be in that level, he needs to do the basics right. Skipp is the typical example for these young players. He starts doesn't put a foot wrong because, he always gets his basics right.

The Son shirt sales in Korea must be worth a fortune to the club

I appreciate you admitting that you're being harsh on him. I have no concerns about Sess because when it mattered last season, he performed way better than any of us expected. Like some have mentioned, it usually takes him a couple games to get up to speed, so I'm not overly concerned about his performances during pre-season.

First half I was impressed by Skipp, Dier, Richarlison and Gil. Dier in particular was exceptional on the ball. He's a surefire starter next season and rightly so. There is 100% a player in Gil and where he played today is where his future lies. Even if the club decide he's not ready we should NOT sell him. Second half Son and Kane obviously added quality and I liked Harvey White and Lucas at wb. Pape Sarr is so good the sequence in the 84th minute where he played a few sharp passes and jinked past his man demonstrated his growing confidence throughout the half. He's gonna be a monster in a few years time.

What a fantastic occasion. Worth the 45 pounds just for this.
I remember in the mid 60s we'd only go as far as places like Malaga, and still we never got to see the games. Just some smiling photos and captions in the Spurs handbooks
Now, thanks to the wonders of technology see every kick. Also, so refreshingly different to see how the Koreans approach football, a joyous day indeed.
