I'm guessing with the lack of fitness from some players and the international break screwing things up (Son has to go to Asia for example), we'll get the exact same thing as today, just with Eriksen/Alli returning in place of Dembele (if he's injured, didn't look good).

And then I think some of the players on the outside looking in will get their chance to challenge as subs as well as once the Europa League and domestic cups start.

We are playing good football bar the last 20 minutes of the Stoke match, so I wouldn't expect Poch to change much. Just a matter of some luck and finishing going our way.

Given the run of games after this one, it's pretty much a must win match. However, everyone needs to remember than Son has to go to South Korea for a WC qualifier on September 3rd and then flies with their national team to Lebanon for a match on September 8th. The guy is probably going to play most of both of those games, as he's their best player. Two 10+ hour flights mixed in, and only a few training sessions with the team in the run-up to this make me think it's not a certainty he'll start.

As for N'Jie, I think people need to seriously temper expectations for him. He is very much a prospect with less than a year of top flight football experience, which was in France. He's not going to play over Chadli (a Pochettino favorite) any time soon, in my opinion.

The back four looked great today. Happy to keep them in tact. I'd play Dembele with Dier in a CM2, with Dembele given license to go forward. I don't know what's going on with Lamela, but I don't like how seemingly everyone has just given up on him after he's played just 90 minutes this season. If he stays, we'll need him in a major way, as there isn't anyone who can unlock defenses in tight spaces as well as him.
