We may have 4 quality centre backs out but we still have our first choice and Bassong who is still very good. We need to treat this game VERY seriously and play our strongest side. I would have liked to have made room for Huddlestone on the bench but didn't know who should be left out

The only alternatives i can see would be Crouch fro Pav which is quite likely, and Pienaar for Jenas, with Modric out left.

Would like to see Kranky but cant see it.

I reckon we can expect to see a few players rested despite what 'Arry says about Wigan being the only game they are focussing on. Like some else said i think Bill Gallas is being rested, not really injured. I will be shocked if he doesn't line up against Real.

I completely agree with you, i just think that's what will happen. We need to pick up 3 points Saturday or, in my opinion, we will miss out on 4th.

We have to win this game if we want to get in the top 4 again this season, we absolutely cannot afford to lose/draw a fourth game in a row to a possible relegation team. So logically we have to play our best team. Therefore, VDV, Bale, Lennon, Modric, Pav all play.
