How come?i'd prefer yakin to fdb.

How come?
Yet De Boer has beaten City and Barcelona in the CL and beat United in the Europa. As for Ajax this season, I would say they have alot of potential but they don't have any great players at the moment like they did in the past.think he's proven more on the european stage. has a really competitive side who play the football i like(counter-attacking) but with the technical ability to back it up. has beaten spurs and chelsea in the past couple of years, just advanced past red bull despite going down to 10 men whereas fdb's ajax got schooled 6-1. fdb sounds good because he's young and has the acronym thing going on, not really sure what he's done as manager of ajax to gain so many fawning fans.
Basel hardly have any stars, closest thing would be Stocker. Ajax beat City when they had that disastrous European pedigree and couldn't win a game to save their life in the Champions League, and they beat an already qualified Barcelona. Also don't think United were exactly committed to the Europa League, much like when they lost to Bilbao. Not saying FDB is bad of course but I think Yakin is better, and has proven himself at all levels (bottom half side, Europe challenging side, historically dominant side) in a very open league, whereas FDB has only had the best side in the Eredivisie.Yet De Boer has beaten City and Barcelona in the CL and beat United in the Europa. In theory I guess you could say its similar but in reality it is very differentBasel hardly have any stars, closest thing would be Stocker. The other thing is De Boer's brand of football is remarkably similar to AVB, not sure most people realize that.
Interesting. His Basel team completely collapsed against Valencia in the 2nd leg despite completely outplaying them the first leg - to be fair, so did Sevilla who went on to win it, and Basel went down to 9 men in extra time and still almost got a winner. They lost in the cup final vs Zurich but were very unlucky. Won the league losing only twice.Leaving at the end of the season:

Stocker looks almost certain to go to Hertha Berlin and for only like 4.5M too, what a bargain. I'd like Schar if we're looking at Basel players. Also, Sommer would be a good Lloris replacement if the worst were to happen. Like I said though, the squad isn't actually particularly great. In the gamble stakes, he is a bigger risk than Pochettino and De Boer.
But I must admit I did consider him because the football Basel played in the Europa league was particularlly good. Would love him to bring Stocker with him.
He would be a good left field appointment, I can't see it happening though.
I'm pretty sure he speaks English, though to be fair I'm not 100% sure on that. I would be surprised if he didn't though.Does he speak english?
Sommer's already signed for Gladbach to replace ter Stegen.Stocker looks almost certain to go to Hertha Berlin and for only like 4.5M too, what a bargain. Ah yeah, I forgot the transfer ban had been lifted from Barcelona. For a while it looked like he might end up not going as Ter Stegen's move to Barca might have been off. But yeah, he's going to Gladbach.Sommer's already signed for Gladbach to replace ter Stegen.
