If there was ever a perfect summer to clear out the deadwood it's this summer.

There is a case to clear out a fair few but what I would say is look at Chelscum by way of an example where a manager has utilised players that were not considered to be part of the future eg Rudiger. Tuchel has come in and utilised him more effectively - thats what a good proper manager and coach does.

I still believe we have the core of a good squad and certainly we need to clear out one or two and build in greater quality and refresh the squad as a whole. I also believe a good proper coach would be able to utilise the squad far more effectively than someone like Jose was able to.

The thing is, Chelsea actually sign quality. Rudiger is a german international. Tuchel isn't polishing turds there.

Their squad is full of quality and they needed tactical organisation and motivation.

Do you really think the next Spurs manager will turn Sanchez and Dier into quality CBs? He won't, I can tell you now. They just aren't any good, we have duds. Too many for us to be successful anytime soon.

We need to do some excellent transfer business in and out over the next few windows.

If anyone could turn Dier around as a player (not as a person as he is seems ok lad) should be Knighted, CBE, OBE etc .......

The list of absolutely must keeps grows shorter week by week.
Lloris - for his recent form but he was shite earlier in the year
Hojbjerg - for his start at THFC I am presuming he has been flogged to death
Moura - never his biggest fan but he does put in a shift
Son - for his early form but he had a really bad spell
Kane - How he hasn't won any pots is a tragedy

Even my personal favourite GLC is not turning games so for me him & Ndombele are 50/50.

For me it’s; Gazzaniga, Rose, Doherty, Dier, Davies, GLC, Lamela, Moura, Winks, Sissoko.
