Apart from the occasional goalkeeper ;-)

Good point on Rose, kanoute. Fancy having a job which you are not able to do for 10 months or whatever, and then saying you deserve a pay rise? We want a refund! Levy should put him in Statutory Sick Pay immediately!

In my last job, I'd been employee of the year one year, the next year had 2months off sick and they started the capability process on me to force me out!

You, lucky, lucky bastard... @Rose

At this point I'm assuming JJ has a darts board in his home with each of the different ratings on instead of numbers. He reads a post, throws a dart, gives the post that rating, and watches the carnage unfold.
He is like the Joker in The Dark Knight, an agent of chaos.

The wife works for a big American consultancy firm. Went on Maternity Leave 12months while she was away got promoted and a great pay rise.

Happy days!

Sorry to read that, Lemon.

No comfort I know, but if we beat the Chavs, Conte could follow in the new PL tradition of winning the league and getting sacked the next season.

Does that mean for those of us who love what Poch is doing, we better hope that Spurs don't win the EPL?:)

I know we have to be patient but even Poch thought we'd have a player or two this week.

No doubt been a very tricky window for us.

Cheers BOF, part of life's rich tapestry.

Think I'd just like to see them struggle in 7-8th, enough to keep him there, then a poor follow on appointment to send them to the wilderness for a decade or six.

The ITK last weekend did mention the possibility of two in this week which is now looking unlikely, there is only two weeks left so you would expect something to happen soon with the clock ticking down.

Wish it worked like that! But the fact is, since SAF left voluntarily, most title-winning managers have been fired the following season. Mancini, Pellegrini, Claudio & Maureen to name but four.
