Without derailin the ITK thread. I think he's vastly overrated by many. People get fooled into thinking he's good by the way he can beat a man, and yeah, he's a very good dribbler of the ball but he's such a poor passer and his vision and decision making is so poor, which are all key traits for the position he plays. And if he wants to play in the #10 role then even more reason to get rid

Wait till he's had his surgery before we start berating him. Think back to the first half of 12/13 before you dismiss Dembele as a poor player. He seems to be the scapegoat for our rigid displays under AVB which is baffling. If we sold him we would most definitely miss his presence in midfield.

You're right that it's ridiculous to pin our rigid and static midfield play on any one player in particular, and you're right that his hip problems have certainly held a prominent part in his decline in play, but Dembele has never been great at taking on the opposing back line. I suspect one of Paulinho or Dembele will go this summer so the new manager can bring in his own kind of midfield controller, and I wouldn't be surprised for it to be the latter.

I'm pretty sure Real will win the CL final and keep Ancelotti, looks like A.M will be without Costa in the final which will hurt them.

They would be crazy to get rid of him anyway, unless they had Klopp lined up.

If it helps, I've never rated him. He started brightly, but he's always been inconsistent and unreliable, and was one of the major problems when we would play crab football and rely on Bale to bail us out. Then again, Chamakh looked promising when he first signed for Arsenal so I don't think we can rely too much on opinions of people when they first join clubs.

Well I suppose the thinking is that if he gets sacked we're about the biggest job going in European football right now. & he's expressed his love for & wish to return to the PL at some point as I understand it

Well we've got to remember a few things here.

• This is an internet forum where everyone has their wish list
• Levy may be a few things but stupid he's not. I can't see him holding out for Ancelotti if he's not already had a convo with him and there is a good chance that he would take the job
• I've not read anywhere that he's been linked with us

Lastly as far as ITK goes, the salt at the entrance to this thread is free however donations are always welcomed
