Fabiano, Gallas, KJH, Diarra, Sandro and Pletkosa. Now that would be a window to celebrate. Title chasers?

Who the hell would have to leave? Keane now (regrettable, but now is the time I think), Pav at Xmas depending on how KJH does on "loan"? Jenas, O'Hara? Hopefully not Gio?

The mind boggles at the chances of it all happening!

Telling myself there's no way Suarez would come, but with the KJH news, weren't those two playing together with Ajax for awhile? If so, makes sense on that front.

As much as some would be pissed off with KJH instead of Fab, I think they're equally big risks, both have potential to be huge successes, both have potential to be huge disappointments. If either of them hit it off with our midifeld they'd score a shitload and then some.

As for Diarra, I'm just not sold on why we need him, but I'm very much a 'in the management I trust' type so if they think he'll improve us, he'll improve us.

The info does seem a touch sketchy though, what's his rap sheet read like?

Late post here, wonder if it will miss the sharp eyes of A&C  but Huntelaar was made available for purchase (not transfer listed, but signals put out) at the start of the transfer window, and we have offered to loan him but it is dependent on whether AC can sell him as they want the funds - it is also, obviously, dependent on if we can get someone better and if we can get one of our front four out to leave space. If we sell one of our front four, and AC struggle to sell Huntelaar, we are certainly interested in him and I would expect us to bring him in. Has it hit that time yet where AC have decided that they aren't going to sell him so they should put him out on loan and get a replacement? I think it may well have.

Diarra - I don't know about talks in London, but he has spoken to Harry today as I posted earlier.

This could be very accurate and very good ITK. It fits with the situation, and how I would expect it to develop from the snippets I have heard. However, I haven't heard the necessary information on KJH or indeed Diarra to state how close we are to confirming a deal - but if things have progressed as anticipated then it could well be at the stage where deals are ready to be completed.

Would be pretty gutted that after all the time we've had to identify a front man of real quality we end up bringing in Huntelaar.

Do they? I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

No it's not.

If you make up something and can be proven to have had a malicious intent, that's another matter, but even with the horrendously restrictive libel laws that we have here, just making something up is not illegal.

Probably is but when has that ever stopped the tabloids printing what they want.

No doubt they print extensive bollocks but it's usually under the guise of a source told us, or an insider told us......and then they print whatever fits in with the angle they're working that day.

Making up quotes and then attributing to certain indivduals though is a low that i don't think our tabloids have sunk to just yet, though no doubt they would if they thought they could get away with it.

I'd actually be happy to get Huntelaar but I have doubts that he'd be flying to London for a medical or whatever if AC Milan was offering him to Barcelona in part exchange for Zlatan while he was in the air!

Mate, I know nothing of our libel laws but I'm pretty certain that The Sun, The Star etc can't just arbitrarily attribute quotes to whoever they want, malicious or otherwise.

I don't think Milan are offering KVH as part exchange for Ibra they want money for him to pay for Ibra and that money will come from somewhere other than Barca.

They attribute their quotes to 'sources' who they have to 'protect' their identity, therefore nobody ever finds out that it's a crock.

Out of interest, what are the chances of us signing both Huntelaar and Fabiano? Surely we'd only really be able to accommodate one of them, and even then only on the basis that Robbie Keane moves on by next week?

As far as the latest ITK goes - it's interesting how the snippets from various sources all seem to tally up. Flurry of activity at WHL, drivers being despatched to collect players for talks, Diarra and KJH at Spurs for talks - almost seems to good to be true! :-(
