If I'm honest I don't see us getting Fabiano or Suarez. The best we can hope for is KJH on a loan to buy agreement. It's just a hunch I have got. I would not be too disappointed with that if I'm honest.

Aye. If everything else failed and we ended up with KJH coming in, can't be unhappy.

but we all know people say things they don't mean, whether to hide true intentions or not. Remember, Fabiano said something similar earlier too.

Hmm that's true, Keane did say something similar, but I dunno. I get the impression that he really means it though, he's basically saying, I want the Champions Leage adventure with Ajax this season, then I'm off. With this being the other part of the quote:

"I signed a contract extension here last January because I wanted to play Champions League football with Ajax. I'll get the chance to do so now and I'm very pleased that we've finally made it to the group stage," Suarez was quoted as saying by NUsport.

It's a possibility still yes, but a slim one at that I think. We'll see though. I hope this won't be an anti-climatic end to the window like when we only signed Corluka on the last day and just got Frazier Campbell in!

If we only sign Pletikosa everyone on this forum will be feeling very down.

Surely to be true must mean a number of last day for signings must fall on this day.

Don't forget that papers also have a habit of making up quotes from players especially if things are quiet.
