Fair enough Rob, I have absolutely no idea what was/is officially requested, I thought that Bizness was merely saying hold up till I get the nod, due to the Dragon thing getting info sharers a bit of flack etc. Didn't seem like he was being unreasonable, has always seemed like a pretty matter of fact type of bloke, and seemed like the messenger was getting it in the neck for trying to keep two forums happy.

If I'm wrong and have missed a hidden agenda (on Biz/FTL/SO or wherever) then I apologise.

I also agree that posting stuff on any forum and not expecting it to be moved around is a bit daft.

Do I think anything will have changed? Hmmm - no, not really. Ade will be technically done, but actually won't be. Hugo will still be dodgy counterfeit goods and Nuri will be maybe.

If mourinho has revealed that nuri can leave then without doubt they will use nuri in exchange for modric .. After all modric will sign for real.

The biggest question is how much does avb want nuri sahin?? i really hope he is high up the list ..ahead of moutinho and co ..

Arsenal have too many midfielders and wenger has denied rumours of nuri..

Utd are more of a threat in my eyes .. As they seem to me in the market for a midfielder ..

But as i said WE should be in pole positon simply because we have luka modric (a player madrid wants) that we can use as bait to get nuri..

ManU also wanted Modric, so stepping aside (so to speak) and not clouding Madrid's pitch might have been a line used and Sahin would see ManU as a very reasonable prospect I would imagine.

I would like to think that at spurs he would get 1st team ahead of utd . But unfortunatly looking at utds midfield nuri can easily be a 1st teamer there too.

Anyways lets just see what happens .. This weekend is sure to be an interesting one..

I dont want to come across as disingenuous here. I've always been a fan of Luka and appreciative of what he has brought to my beloved club but if Sahin comes to us as ANY part of the Modric to Madrid deal then i say to Luka, as you leave, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

In my estimation Sahin top trumps him all over the pitch.

Admittedly I haven`t seen a lot of Sahin, I have watched a bit of Moutinho, who in fairness looked the muts nuts at the Euros. The problem with Porto is that ala DL they are notoriously hard negotiators, and I would imagine Moutinho would be AVBs No1 choice to replace Modders...I`m sure I read somewhere with quotes that AVB wasn`t convinced Sahin would be suited to the PL.
