Also I said a few weeks back de had was in holland, he was & as peanut has just said entered negotiations but h has dithered like a twat on this!

We could have had luis, levy would have paid it, he would have paid for dzeko to!

Oh & ledley told us all on youtube he was on 75k when pissed up so the 60k wage limit is a farce

The more news that comes out the more I believe there is a real problem between Levy and Redknapp :bang:

Harry for whatever reason cannot make his mind up- Maybe he doesn't know the players concerned that well- that is why he keeps flying to see them.

It would be a brave decision to go all out on one of them- but in my opinion Harry should have had a wish list in preference order and kept to it. If it is true about changing his mind after talking to Ajax then this is disgraceful. We should have been 100% we wanted him before pursuing.

We really need to get someone in that can link with VDV- make a decision and go for it- Forlan and Fabiano will not be on a high transfer fee risk (may even be a loan first) just go for it :wink: What is the worst that can happen spend £15m and have to resell in a year at £7m

Harry decided that he wasnt value for money at the price they were asking, He picks the team and couldnt find a place in the team for him that justified that transfer fee!

Ultimately if it turns out to be true this will really piss Levy off especially now when its really needed, The long term future of the club is at stake here, Redknapp will be gone in the summer if we fail to keep CL football IMO knowing that we could have got that striker if it hadn't been for his old age dithering.

Mourinho in the summer, you watch.

Just a couple of points - to clarify and support what you're saying.

From all sources we offered to match the bid for Dzeko, but obviously couldn't match the wages and the player had been going there all along as they were his only choice.

The 60k wage cap is a myth you're right, POTL confirmed this on several occassions over the last year or two.

I wouldn't rule out Mourinho coming one day. But to say he's gonna leave Madrid this year and come to Spurs is, frankly, delusional.

Any indication if it's to white Madrid, red&white Madrid or Seville? I'm hoping the former.

I'm really concerned about our lack of transfer strategy since we got rid of the DoF structure. Come back Comolli, all is forgiven!

I doubt this. He will be aware of our limitations in terms of player wages and how inhibiting this would be in obtaining top quality players. There will be far more attractive propositions on the table for him than us.
