Work should be fine, I can't play football holding a smartphone....or could I?

I played football once with a bottle of beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other, needless to say I wasn't very good but I blame that on the wellies I was wearing. You should be fine.

We wouldn't be bidding if we didn't think we could meet the players wages.....fact

Unreal eh, DL with that bid for aguero = doubles our transfer record IF it had been accepted.

JD says we will bid again tomorrow........... Levy showing his true hand at last ?

Because as Ballague said, if I tried to buy your house before a deadline by 2 weeks you would hold out for a bigger offer or ask for more money. The closer it is the better the deal.

It also means City are less likely to fuck things up... It may come off as amateurish doing it this late but it could well of been something they were planning to do all along.

Nothing to do with the Olympic Stadium, and spending money would do nothing to affect the bid.

Are you on the Voting Committee for the OS?

Sorry but you have no way of knowing how these people think, maybe they will be swayed by this? Who knows, except the people in question?

Wasn't there a message from Defoe earlier - "what a great way to end the week"? Or am I making that up?

Mods...genuine question...if I put an apparent 'itk' on ignore, would I get banned for itk abuse?

Mpickard, as a fellow Bristol dweller, I feel inclined to emphasise the importance of expecting the most miserably disappointing day of transfer developments you can possibly imagine. Let's hope it will turn out well....but it probably won't.

Haha I was joking! I have been in 'its going to be Carlton Cole' mode for the last week, so Im ready. Anybody but him is positive in my eyes

So bidding €45m was us playing it shrewd, keeping our cards close to our chest. nice.
