Does JJs comment mean we are once again waiting to offload before we buy?
and quickly meaning we have someone tied up but we just need an out going...?
makes sense, but i can only see it it ending in disaster once again.
Any manager who achieved top 4 with what we spent last season deserves a new contract. Regardless of the position we was in.
If Levy moved the goalposts on what success was he should have backed Redknapp in the Jan transfer window instead of signing free transfers.
I fully believe if we brought in Jan we would have finished 3rd easily. We lost key players and form. But it can't all be blamed on Redknapp.
Indeed, or those wanting to come in to the club. When JJ has said that both Levy and Lewis's hands are tied, could this be possibly in relation to the playing staff and what impact it would do on our star players potentially wanting out without Harry at the helm and any recruitments as well?

I doubt it. None of our key players are really Redknapp men per se. Parker possibly, but he seems like a smart enough bloke.
Some might grumble that things might not be as fun/casual under the next coach, but when they see how much training and tactics can actually improve them they'll soon become converts.

The new owners want Harry to be in charge once the takeover is complete
England is the biggest job in English football, regardless of your feelings towards the national team or international football, fact is to many many people it's the single biggest job and be pinnacle of any English managers career. Hodgson, Pardrew and Redknapp all said he same thing.
When England make the quarter finals in 2 weeks time you watch the whole nation get behind the team.
We should all be proud of manager was linked with the job, it shows what fantastic work he has done here.
You cannot really blame Redknapo for wanting that job. It's not like he wanted the Arsenal Job and he already said before he wouldn't leave for Chelsea as he couldn't do that to the Spurs fans.
I don't really see what he has done wrong, the only issue was The FA pissing about, but our players let us down big time, they all stopped performing. So the blame cannot souly be Harry's fault.
We was all begging Levy to give Harry a new deal to try and stop him going to England now we want rid? Behave.
Harry didn't get England job, but he did get Spurs 4th. That to me is progress from last season. He deserves a new deal.
Though I guess, in all innocence, it takes two to dick about?A lot of time has passed since then and in that time Harry let something distract him from the job he was contracted to do. Even you can't ignore that surely?
Whichever way you look at it, Harry's position isn't as strong now as it was back then and at least part of that is his fault. If he's now dicking about over contract negotiations then he's playing a dangerous game and as I said, if Levy doesn't trust him then he shouldn't be manager.
