AWSOME update! Would love CE back ?? exactly what we need.

I wonder if he has the same agent as before because in the AON documentary Levy said he couldn’t get hold of Eriskens agent so sorting out his exit was proving very difficult, let’s hope he can get hold of him this time ? or that CE has a new agent.

From Transfermarkt seems to be the same agent: Martin Schoots

I have asked my man the question....... He said he hadn't heard anything recent, but FP wanted to bring him in last Summer. Apparently there was an injury concern at the time so nothing came of it. I'd say it's possible there is something in this more than just media talk. Lets see if something more concrete comes up.

This was the player I was referring to earlier. There was a local report that we were moving in for him. He was expected to be picked up by Bayern or Dortmund so would be quite a coup. 1 year left, valued around £20-25m.

Certainly looks like the ideal Conte target man.

I like the idea of CE for the team but not sure its best for him to be a bit part/alternate player for spurs at this point but who knows maybe he makes conte shift the system to accommodate him or we see him alternate more with Son in the wide left position. As for Kalajdzic i have little knowledge other than googling him ages ago and thinking he had a striking resemblance to Mr Crouch in stringbeanyness

Not the best injury record, otherwise I suspect he would be at top team already

His agent probably didn't have a fax machine to be fair

Kalajdzic would certainly fit the brief of physical striker that we have had from ITK. Interesting that we were looking at him last summer too.

6ft 6in and has scored 22 league goals from 36 starts over last 2 seasons. Half of these goals have been headers which is quite incredible.
Kalajdzic is in talks with Bayern to replace Lewandowski together with Mane. Its another case of I can not see him being happy with the idea to be Kane`s bench warmer. He would have better options for his career.

The reason we are unlikely to see a top quality striker come to Spurs until Kane is old or gone. A problem but a good one to have as it means we have Harry Kane

Truth is we're not likely to get a better player to replace Kane than playing Son in that position (getting Eriksen could also make that option more doable as Eriksen could start and Son switch to centre forward). I think a centre forward who is physical to give us a scrappy forward against stubborn defences is what we need. They don't need go be top draw but rather add a different option. I always find it amazing we struggle so much to sign a forward like that, must be plenty good options who are happy to be part of a top squad. It's not like we're the only ones with a guaranteed starter up front.

There’s Paratici’s second hand man then

From the article:

Fabio Paratici, Spurs’ managing director of football, has been looking to add to his team for his second season in the Premier League, although Scoulding will not be part of the recruitment team.

Is there a difference between scouting and recruiting? I’m assuming he’ll be a lead scout and then others will secure the players. Or Have I misjudged that?

Do not be suprised to see the forward we eventually sign comes from out of nowhere. Club very confident
Welcome, Randy Orton ;)

In all seriousness, cracking ITK. The last time we got such an ITK for a forward, it ended up being Carlos Vinicius. Fingers crossed its someone really good this time.

I also liked the previous links (January I believe from Trix?) For the tall strong young striker playing in Belgium, he sounded like a real good prospect.
