There have been clubs mate, he's turned them down. The feeling is he's trying to get out dirt cheap in order to maximise his own gains.
But, and please hear me out, surely selling an unwanted asset cheaply is more cost effective than not selling them at all, paying their wages for a year and then letting them leave for free when their contract expires.

We are also still looking at possibly bringing in another CM. No names given but we are still in the mix.

Anyone else actually loving the fact deadline day madness is back? Watching Harry on SSN back in the day was absolutely class entertainment as a fan. Just hope it's a VDV situation and not a Saha!

There are a handful of you that seem incapable of acknowledging that after a few years of thinking the squad was fine and it must be the coach that’s the problem by our hierarchy that this reshaping of the squad would be conducted in one window.

I like the idea of the signings we’ve made. Clearly need more in midfield, out wide and up top but it was never going to happen in one window.

Barring how the season goes the three areas mentioned surely become the priority for Nuno and Paratici next summer

If we have decided not to buy a back up striker, does this mean Nuno thinks that Scarlett can do that job for us?

I think that's far more exciting than buying yet another short term fix but each to their own.

Yes, but probably not out of choice. As he'll have no other option but to.

Scarlett really struggled against a mid-table Portuguese side - he's not ready yet IMO.

Oh the joys of TDD
One respected journo saying no talks for a striker and a great ITK saying hush there are!
What a great time this is!

How do you make the guy leave on the cheap when he can maximise his gain under the terms of a bosman?

The only way we can be happy or at least content without signing a striker is if we bring Traore in. Him alongside Son up front would be adequate when Kane is rested/injured.

Maybe but that's not what's happened.

Reckon at least for most UECL group stage games (par Rennes), perhaps easier domestic cup games if we draw such?

I think there is a big disconnect between fans and how managers think.
We got Son as a winger and most of us always will see him as a winger.

But I am pretty sure whether its Poch (last year) or Jose or Nuno, when they see Son - they see Son as a proper forward. Whether we like it or not, I believe this is the perception. This is why while we want a striker for window after window but the managerial people see him as striker we already have.

So when it comes to transfers, we dont ever go that extra mile and always tend to go for some cheap loan options or noting even
