I think Pereira bares watching as an option for us. AVB clearly loves ex-Porto players, irrespective of their current form, as he probably believes he can get the best out of them.

Pereira was an unused substitute for Inter yesterday, and he's fallen out of favor there. I predict he'll be the one we sign, if we do sign one.

Beyond that, CF could be one of many previously linked. ITK from earlier in the summer suggested we watch for a deadline day Damiao revisit, Rodrigo has been mentioned, and has an ITK suggested Buyout clause...

Time to get real folks. If we sell nobody else and buy nobody else, we're still streets ahead of where we were this time last year, even allowing for the loss of Bale.
Defoe/Ade with Dempsey as backup, now reads Soldado with Ade/Defoe, Chadli or Lamela as backup.
Sandro & Dembele CM with Parker, Hudd and Livermore as backup. Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Capoue, Holtby and Eriksen... Take you're pick.
If we upgrade on two out of favour players in Benny and Ade, great. But if we don't, and they stay, we're still far better off than we were. Just have to have a little patience now, while this array of new talent starts to get on the same page regarding their movement off the ball and ability to find each other. It will come.
Stop stressing about what other clubs are doing. We have no control over that, let them stress about the quality we have bought in. This is a Spurs forum.

I've let her now that she's going to watching SSN until midnight, and that when saying, "that's fine" in response there will be no bugging me to change chanels, go out for a drink or otherwise distract. She has agreed stating she'll keep herself entertained somehow with a winky face.

If i can get head and watch SSN at the same time, i'm going to create a topic with a picture of my hand (hopefully while recieving stating head) and invite SC members to post pics of their hands generating an internet high-five. If this comes off i'll donate £1 per high-five.​

"Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one
season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches
for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs
belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in
summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official
matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully
complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally,
the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the
minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected."
