Jodie, thirdkit87 and charliemouse, why dislike?
Are you really happy we've been left with one of Sissoko or GKN to be starting against Real Madrid and Dortmund in the CL?
Stronger AM back up and RB after we sold Walker were the two areas we needed to strengthen and we only strengthened one of them otherwise we just improved areas we were already strong in, all be it with some good signings but really why settle for this, we are close to something good here and yet again we leave signings to the last minute and are then underwhelmed.

Not good enough, sorry.

If Lamela actually comes back then it's not the end of the world.
Not the place for formation but with Ali missing I'd be happy with Wanyama, dier, dembele / son, eriksen and Kane in a 352. The dislike was for the general moaning tone. Heard it all before and yet we still keep on improving.

Not that anyone asked me but I'd just like to let you know that I think the window was a little bit meh....

Strengthened a strength, avoided an obvious deficiency. That's us... please don't forget it

Llorente is a good insurance policy, it's only taken us about 5 years since our first attempt to get him over the line but I digress.

Speaking of insurance policies.... does anyone honesty think Sanchez is anything but that for Alderweirald?? Seriously? TA is off next year, that is now a certainty

Sissoko is still here..... which considering the astronomical upsurge in prices just reaffirms what a shit deal we did last year to bring him in.... surely we could have somehow broken even.... no, what a spanking we've taken there

Lamela is still here.... it makes no difference he won't make it onto the park

Aurier for Walker... looks like good business on paper, as long as the there aren't any gay policemen on security duty when he next plays. If there is then he's looking at a very long suspension.

Foyth.... hmmm, Danny Rose will be needing a search engine, or two to find this guy

And, I'm done. Sanchez is a big statement and show of faith by the club... the rest is somewhat typical. There must be some word that can be used to describe what's happened here.... you know something that reflects lost opportunity, snatching a lose from the jaws of a victory, the world being against us and us being just unlucky. A-hah! I've got it. Spursy!

Watching those final posters still hoping for a twist in here is like the end of a college party, after all the interesting people have left, where there's just a few awkward blokes hoping one of the few pig ugly girls remaining is just drunk enough to take his virginity.
Wtf dude.

I wonder if JJ's latest tweet means that we have submitted a deal sheet for a transfer that is dependent on a fee dominos falling, with a Spanish buying club being a crucial piece in that jigsaw?

I think he's just taking the piss for a laugh, this time round.

Idiots in that case as they will get much less cash in Jan and zero cash for him in the summer....
I don't think he will come. I think he will sign a new contract or wait until the summer and have a whole host of clubs after him on a free. It was the correct decision tho not to sign him, if it's totally torn then who knows how he might be when fit regarding pace etc.

Was convinced it was now or never for Ross, when it was clear we wouldn't move now and Chelsea came in he was ready to go there. Everything was set until he got a call from one of our boys and the deal was off.

I can't say this as fact but it has to have come from Poch or Levy IMO.

His agents aren't overly happy to say the least, but this to me shows just how much Ross wants us, and while it might not be the best news for now it shows an awful lot about the player and his desire to play for us.
Yeah, it's made me rethink him tbh. He'd come here and really listen to poch and be eager to learn and improve under him.

He's a good egg.

Insta-ledge as well after punking the chavs.

The rent boys, they bought his flight
But Ross Barkley, he saw the light
The scum even paid the medical fee
Then he got the call from Dan Levy
He hates Chelsea, He hates Chelsea
He hates Chelsea and He hates Chelsea

Hope we snap him up in January would be a nice boost for the second half of the season. Should have fresh legs too.

Surely, that's tapping up though?

Yeah in the meantime the player ruins any chance of playing at the world cup.

As I doubt Everton would deal in Jan if they won't now and probably won't sanction a loan either as all that would get them is five months saved on his wages.

Looking like a Peace/Berahino mk2 deal.

Had berahino written all over it all summer imo

Bit of a random thing for JJ to say re. Spain?

Is he on a wind up or suggesting something?

ITK gives an indication of what we can expect. It's more than a little frustrating that ITKs have got it wrong. There was this mystery player - a game changer - a fast forward. We're told not to worry and that it will happen. Well it didn't happen.

The bottom line with this club in the transfer window is the bottom line. Net spend zero.

Let's see how this window works out from a cash in/cash out standpoint.
Thats where you're going wrong mate.
It can give an indication, you need to stop taking it as gospel, no wonder you're disappointed.

Chill dude. What's happened has happened. W

you do realise the salt thing? JJ isn't Lewis or Levy. And mocking JJ should be a ban dude. We always want more but what is done is done.
I have to say I'm a little annoyed at you accusing me of mocking him and then suggesting I be banned for it. Not cool.

We were told something and I was told I was wrong to think that, I was merely pointing out that I wasn't imagining something.
