In other words, please tune in to sky sports today
I see the same people who heralded Martins as the second coming a couple of years ago are now declaring him the same level as Dan James... glad we are still looking and if Conte wants a rapid ball carrier then hope we get one over the line.
This has actually happened. 2017 deadline day, and I clearly remember that discussion here. The hype was unreal and equal to what we had for Luis Diaz a couple of months agoThat’s some pretty deep background research you’ve done there, have you got a precise list of the members who have made both these statements ? ?
Good take.Would I have liked some better quality CB/Attacking depth? Sure. But, we’ve got a hectic 2ish months to get through before the World Cup (believe November 12th is our last match until December 26th). Navigate that time period, and the relative break in action allows us to bridge to the January Window, where we may find ourselves in better position to land the Bentancur/Kulu types for the remainder of the season. Not all hope is lost for me, even if we are feeling like our window petered out a bit.
Well this is just nonsense.I see the same people who heralded Martins as the second coming a couple of years ago are now declaring him the same level as Dan James... glad we are still looking and if Conte wants a rapid ball carrier then hope we get one over the line.

VDVI think at 3pm on deadline day any even half decent player becoming available is incredibly unlikely. No team is going to sell a player they value now. Gelson and James are just sub par options that would offer nothing we don’t already have better in Lucas. My concerns for the teams strength in attack really comes from how willing Conte is to play Gil. If he doesn’t then we will be in trouble. Really tho, i think once we decided not to pay what Roma wanted for Zaniolo our window, at least as far as immediate quality incomings, ended. I would have been curious what would have happened if Zaniolo and Bastoni had signed new contracts and I do feel our squad is thin considering the schedule but zero point in filling it with players we’d be trying to loan out this time next summer.
[/QUOTE]Skilful player, has HAIR like ASM.
Yes- I’d say that Gil would need to feature more if he stays. I’m not massively confident we’ve bought enough attacking wise to hold our own in the top four should Son or Kane get injured or are out of form. I’m not criticising the club; we’re still making amends for 2018 summer window and we’re going to need a couple more windows to get everything in placeI think at 3pm on deadline day any even half decent player becoming available is incredibly unlikely. Once every ten years type a signing lol
Absolutely true. My only caveat to that is that the information blackout at the club appears to have kicked in a couple of days ago so there's the possibility that they're in the final stages of an interesting move.I think at 3pm on deadline day any even half decent player becoming available is incredibly unlikely.
Wishful thinking pal, think all signs pointing to nothing further happening.Absolutely true. My only caveat to that is that the information blackout at the club appears to have kicked in a couple of days ago so there's the possibility that they're in the final stages of an interesting move.
Probably not, but maybe.
Zaniolo is different but don't see Bastoni refusing to sign a contract with Inter over the course of this season.I think at 3pm on deadline day any even half decent player becoming available is incredibly unlikely.
