Anyone else experiencing the sensation of waking from an erotic dream only for the filthy action to happen right at the beginning of the dream, while the rest of the dream involved you walking in a foggy realm surrounded by amplified angst-ridden voices?
Nope, In getting I'm getting sorted by Angelina Jolie I'm my dream and then awaken to find poochy has been getting my attention for walkies.

Like trying to get blood from a stone my end today sorry.

Was told to expect 2 more in for the past few weeks but obviously certain things had to fall into place for that to happen.

We won't just buy stop gaps anymore and end up having the same issue we currently have trying to shift the deadwood.

Rumours of January are true, we are already lining up potential deals we can revisit apparently.

Conte has said it will take a few more windows to get to the desired level to compete at the top. He's happy with the business we've done but I'm sure the same as the rest of us, he would have liked a couple more in. CB, RWB and AM will be the focus of the next window.

The frustration is we had the opportunity to really pull clear of Arsenal and maybe Chelsea but we haven’t and with a few injuries we are in trouble.

The window has been much better and there has actually been some planning. This is the sort of window we should have had for a quite a while, but we are still short in some key areas, especially given the ridiculous fixtures this year.
Agreed - certainly some positives in the approach but also a feeling of ‘close, but no cigar’.

I think you may need to lie down on your own couch Doctor and give yourself a good talking to. Prrhaps best put a towel down first in case you nod off again.

Well down to Conte to start getting the group up to speed now then... definitely a lot of room for improvement based on current performances but if he’s content hopefully that means he feels he can sufficiently improve what he’s got at his disposal

The key thing here, that people tend to forget, is that there are always players emerging.

Some players we signed this summer probably weren't on our radar until recently or available.

Conte just needs to keep us competing at the top end so that we can make key additions that will help us get over that final hurdle.

Cheers mate. Just personally dont understand how January is any different to this summer, we've had the time to do the deals. If anything the prices can be more expensive. Nevertheless, very good window overall. Coys

Would 9000% rather see us sign nobody than someone that we're going to have to shift next summer. It's clearly no joke selling unwanted players in this market now.

Not throwing shade at any of our resident ITKers because I love you more than my own family, I was just wondering when we would hear that old chestnut of looking ahead to the next window

It’s been a good window with some shrewd business, but it still feels a bit half baked

Did you fall asleep in your chair reading Victorian erotica again?
I can empathise…

Looks to me like silly money dealings from Chelsea/man u/Man city (even forrest/newcastle) have left foreign clubs expecting any English team to pay way over the odds for their players.. Tottenham were never going to do that which is why I suspect deals aren't going through for us...

Edit.. I made this up with no facts

To head of the inevitable PM I'll get from you, no, you're likely upcoming ban was not for questioning ITK. It was for the images in the ITK thread.

Sounds like Zaniolo was the main attacking target. Suppose it makes more sense waiting for him to get over his injury than panic buying someone else.

Bastoni will also only have a year and a half left of his contract come January. So you never know

At the end of the winter window we were told we were already looking towards summer, and we got the players in early.

Now with a new team a new team around him, I'm sure we are looking and talking about the next window.

It's only a clear opportunity if the others don't decide to be aggressive in the market... we have been very active. Apart from the last days/weeks... they (Arsenal/Chelsea) have been very busy as well. Only time will tell who has hit the best strategy and players...

Just because Arsenal sign 5 players. Doesn't mean we have to sign 10. And so on...

As you say it's about planning and hitting the right buttons. I'm certain that the 2 maybe 3 quality players we are missing will arrive next year... until then it's better to go with 3rd and 4th choices/back ups we know and trust...

All the players we have away on loan, will have to be sold next summer on top.

I think we can all vouch for going for quality over quantity here and bringing in the players that will slot into Conte's well drilled system seamlessly.

You'd think over next January and summer transfer windows we'll revisit what appears to be Conte's first choices in Bastoni and Zaniolo but intrigued as to who he perceives at RWB to bring in (optimistically Hakimi) but I also feel over the course of the next two windows we need a successor to Lloris and must say all roads lead to Meslier on that one.

In any case, overall an excellent window and laying down solid on pitch foundations for the future.
