Ah, okay. Bank the money then.Liverpools attitude to recruitment is a million miles away from our though. Big fee incoming or not.

Like when we pocketed all the Bale money and signed nobody?Liverpools attitude to recruitment is a million miles away from ourselves though. Big fee incoming or not.

I think the rebuild is bigger than that, if we buy as we did last season we won't be challenging for top 4 at all. Kane doesn't have two years to wait for us to catch up.He could have at least give Mourinho one more season. So hard to believe he is throwing in the towel and call it quits.
I really hope so too mate. It sounds mad, but Kane is Tottenham. He is the home grown, Spurs supporter who has worked his way to the very top. He epitomises everything I loved about our Pochettino side with their hard work, steely nature, and will to win!
For us to sell him, then it would signal the end of ENIC for us, and things could get really nasty I believe, if Levy sold Kane & then only spent £75m in trying to replace the 7 players we have lost since that Poch side in: Rose, Walker, Vertonghen, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen & Kane.
Last thing, if Kane goes, then say goodbye to Sonny.
Seriously can anyone on here see Levy selling him next season, with long contract happily signed?
This time next year maybe, if he keeps himself fit, Levy may not have a choice if he wants top money for him
Completely agree with all of that mate but I'm going to try and look at it from the other side of the coin. Levy is in a position where we didn't cash in on Eriksen and that turned horrible and I wonder if that gives him pause in terms of making a difficult decision. Maybe he feels with Kane having injury problems that if he can get a large sum which can give us the ability to rebuild in a huge way the same way Liverpool did that it will be worth the ire of the fans in the long run. Problem is with that train of thought that Fee's for top quality stars are not what they used to. How many players could we realistically get, 2/3 premium players at best? is that worth the risk?
as I say my opinion is the same as yours, I'm just trying to make sense of all perspectives.

I hope he does leave, he 100% deserves success and that isn't going to happen at Spurs for him.Harry Kane has spoken to DL, after the THST release. He is itching to be allowed to leave. Not sure DL will allow that. Hugo wants MLS.
