Anyway, I sort of disagree that it isn't anything new.................It might be something new for all we know, 'Modric looks like going' could be an indication that things are moving. I'm very worried about things at Spurs. I have been a staunch supporter of Levy over the years but he is doing my head in now. Our squad is threadbare. I can see at 11.30pm bid for someone as a hint of desperation again and sending out a message to supporters of how we tried everything yadda yadda yadda.

The season finished in May and we have bought in a Central Defender and a Midfielder. We need strikers as if Levy didn't know in the last few years we have done this...

it's kind of interesting to note that if the rumours of a transfer committee that decides on the players to sign are true, then surely that in itself is a long drawn process that will surely be delayed if the committee doesnt see eye to eye about who to sign?

You literally have no idea about things at Spurs. You have a very limited understanding about what goes on on the pitch, let alone what goes on at board level.

I hate that you choose to assume Levy would deliberately hurt the club and isn't trying his utmost to do deals that don't hamstring the club financially.

We don't have an unlimited bucket of cash. This is how we have to do business. Some of you need to get this through your heads. This WILL ALWAYS be the case until if and when we get bought out.

Very much Bentley, the problem being that when negotiations got down to the nitty-gritty his uncle couldn't/wouldn't supply Scout with any details.
