Willian mostly plays as an attacking midfielder. He can also play on the wings. Oh hey, just like Gylfi. I'd assume we're attempting to replace Kranjcar...which again, we already did. Willian would be a good signing, but he's completely unnecessary especially as we have three more positions which need improvement/cover before Lennon and Bale.

Other way round, he can play in behind the striker but has been mostly used in the wider areas. The point is he has much better attributes to play in the wider areas as opposed to Siggy.

You really think AVB doesn't know any of this? He's just attempting to make signings without thinking things through....

We have been nudged in the direction of this message board where the image below claims to be of Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Willian, who has been strongly linked with a move to Tottenham. So is it him? If so, what does it mean?

Lying bastards! We claimed it might be M'Villa, or maybe Naing, hell I even threw in Hesky for as laugh but no one suggested it was Willian.

I wonder if SC can sue them for for this gross laziness called journalism - pay for the server for a few months!

Just to put this in perspective;

Lennon has 21 goals and 42 assists in 196 league games for us in the PREMIER LEAGUE.
Willian has 19 goals and 40 assists in 129 league games IN UKRAINE.

Good player no doubt, but still.

Doesn't mean jack shit, swop players and leagues and you might see differet stats. Avb has scouted willian enough to really like him and appreciate his talents, that's enough for me to believe he is worthy + I've personally seen enough to be very excited by his possible transfer, I think he will be great for us.
