How's that even a possibility? Unless he's in a car on his way to the airport now, it's a logistical impossibility, quite apart from the remote chances of us laying out the cash on him.

I don't know how it works, but I wouldn't have thought he needs to be in England to sign a contract and have a medical.

Granted, we'd have to have sent a few people out there but that's feasible I would have thought.

DL is clearing the decks as he says we have a lack of money. The boys to QPR are going cheaper than cheap and are better than what they have. H can trust them apparently!

Now there is 2 ways to look at the clearing the decks scenario:
1. We genuinely are skint and have to balance the books as we have no money as DL keeps saying?
2.He is clearing the decks for an impending arrival or arrivals?

You go with whatever you want for tomorrow depending on what floats your boat, or if you are a glass half full or half empty....

I'm keeping schtum as i honestly dont know at this point in time!!

Huge clearing of the books to sell JJ and Bentley - probably on £40k pa (£2m pa) and with 18 months left on each contract (JJ's got extended to June 2014) soi that''s £6m less on wages. I hope QPR are picking up all the wagres plus a fee for those two.

Huddlestone off to Fulham or somewhere too - are we shorter on mids than we think ?

Maybe good if one of the other parts of the deal was Diame in too - but we have a lot of youngsters who could do with the experience of playing., Main question is whether AVB is prepared to play them.

I'm on the side of glass half full in regards to clearing the decks. Wages have always been our sticking point and that's what we'll be shifting, serious wages.

To be fair the tool says two players until the end of the season but FA rules say only one loan is allowed from each PL club

Deals can be done subject to a medical so he wouldn't have to be here for a deal to be complete .....Still wont happen though

I'm pretty sure it can be agreed without them there in person. That's what was going to happen with Moutinho - subject to medical or something like that.

People seem to forget Verts can play the holding mid role. If Kaboul is back soon we have lots of options at CB.
