I was informed today that DL is a little (mild understatement) angry at Bales agent He is now under the impression that a world record bid will be made.As of now know formal bid has been made but it doesn't look good for the yid armyThe Spurs head brass thought and were lead to believe that Gareth would stay one more year I have until today thought that he would sign the new deal offered and stay one more year but my optimism has run out Same old Spurs my love and frustration runs deeper than relationship I have

Ffs... Just listened to the sports twat on radio 4's today programme - trying to create the exclusive that "can we see Bale's transfer completed within a week? Perez always gets his man etc"....Bale was the only focus this morning, no other sport was mentioned within daily sports round up: pathetic

BBC Breakfast also tried to make a story out of nothing. There is nothing to it! No offer from Madrid and no statement from Bale that he wants to go.

This upsets me.

Thing is all the power lies with us and Levy, Bale has a contract that runs for another 3 years. We are in the driving seat on this. Demand Ronaldo on a years loan, that should make up for any goals Bale will score Levy really needs to play this right, there is a plethora of Talent at Madrid, if we cannot stop Bale from going then lets make sure we get a bloody good deal out of it.

I would like Bale to stay as if we're trying to be a top club we need to keep our best players. Having said that, I don't really think we should force any player to stay. If (and a big if), Madrid was bidding £50m plus Di Maria and Coentrao then I feel we would be silly to not take a hard look at that offer. I do feel Bale is a fantastic player but there are no guarantees that he will replicate that this season. The other problem is, if his head is turned, what good is he going to be for us for one more season?

Even though he wanted out i don't think rat boy had that bad a season, he didn't bust a gut for us but he was one of our best players that year and his goal v liverpool was sublime.

Even a Bale playing at 80-90% capacity would still be better than anything we have right now

I am eagerly awaiting the world record bid to come in. Good to assess the market value of our most valuable asset. Levy must be shivering uncontrolablly knowing that a world record bid is coming his way.

If I am Levy I will be elated when someone wants to pay a record transfer fee for my player. I will just politely tell them to do one.

Well the Valencia team are flying to New York tomorrow at 4.50pm, so we better get a move on with Soldado, or he'll be on that flight.
