@Larryjanta. What's to dislike about this? Spiteful little fucker, aren't you? Why can't you just hold your own opinions, without trying to neg rep other people, just because they happen to disagree with you on certain occasions?
I would imagine that almost every SC member has disagreed with the posts of others. This is part and parcel of a forum. But to hunt down an individual poster, and neg rep them is just vindictive, and takes the "Community" out of Spurs Community.
"Top of the agenda was Bale’s future, with Villas-Boas urging the club to keep him for one more year"
"Villas-Boas happy with the pursuit of Paulinho, Roberto Soldado and Etienne Capoue but unsure that he wanted a radical overhaul."
Listening to the Krueger interview and he says "we are at a point where we are not selling Jay Rodriguez or Morgan Schneiderlin"
The bolded part along with his other comment about each case being looked at individually suggests to me that a transfer request would make them sell.
He also made another comment about him "wanting players who wanted to play for Southampton in the dressing room" so if Rodriguez and Schneiderlin make it clear that they do not want to stay, they could be allowed to leave.
Yep, totally agree. Those carefully worded snippets are the most revealing. Its all pointing towards a very reluctant sale but they're making sure that the perception is they're doing their best to take a tough stance but what can you do if the players really don't want to be here sort of thing...
Its all coming....when we meet their asking price.

This krueger/soto situation is not dissimilar to a predicament my missus found herself in on my 45th birthday, in that a tiny bald headed object has caused a lot of discomfort (or a pain in the arse).
To expand on the similie, schneiderlin is my brown wings, the previous sales are my mates brown wings and the other clubs are my mates. It does fall apart as a complete similie in that the other clubs havent told spurs to persuade soton to sell a player to them cos "its fucking ace". Spurs havent bought soton a bottle of bacardi to loosen em up and, so far, soton havent spent 2 hours crying about it and complaining that the kidney punches werent really necessary.
Oh and soton didnt ring spurs up and say "you can have whatever you want"
Didn't we run this same race when Bale was out? I thought it was reported via ITK that he had a meeting w/ Levy where he told Levy he wanted to go to RM and Levy told him he was not being sold, Gareth left the grounds in a huff (I think this was @Breezer ITK). The company line all along was that he was never being sold, but their actions (all of the incomings) seemed to point to them trying to get their replacements in line before selling and having to deal with price gougers.
Possible Southampton are on the same sort of track? Obviously they've already pulled in a fair chunk of cash so the gougers will be out, but maybe they want to get their replacements lined up before officially selling anyone else so they can try and keep the prices down. Also, having those incomings ready to be announced at or near the same time as they sell MS and/or JR would make those sales a little less painful, PR wise.

Weird, I always thought of Southampton as a she.
Just realised that If you examine that similie properly, a) my missus has been giving out to my mates and b) they all have cocks like mice cos I nearly ripped the end of mine off......This krueger/soto situation is not dissimilar to a predicament my missus found herself in on my 45th birthday, in that a tiny bald headed object has caused a lot of discomfort (or a pain in the arse).
