AVB wants him to stay and is very confident he can bring the best out in him, but will he stay and not go on a free? Is there an option for another year? If so what does it entail?​

Gomes was not on the released list issued by Premiership so ergo, Spurs must have extended his contract by taking up the option, or indeed in some other way

I'd agree with that but as good as Brad is, I still feel as if we should get Lloris whilst we can- He's class, youngish and isn't a too bad price.

Sturridge is prob one of the options for Young World Class striker but you have to look around hard to find someone that matches that description exactly.

If Mods leaves we will need 7 imo.

A new GK is essential imo, as solid as Brad was, he showed signs of his age at the end of the season, and isn't really a good fit for AVBs system.

Yeah I agree, Leandro might be the better option but would cost a lot more money and isn't proven in the prem. Also getting Leandro for their asking price would probably mean we wouldn't get Moutinho so we wouldn't get as good a Modric replacement as we would hope.

I'd say Leandro Damiao fits that description better than Sturridge?
