What did have I taken? I'm commenting on the ITK which doesn't say anything about us being given permission.

The dig you have taken is immediately assuming Levy is talking to the agent without permission, and then saying "Then he shouldn't bitch when other clubs do the same to him then.", when you have absolutely no idea if we have permission of not.

Bild talks about Dortmund bidding for him. Sport.co.uk mentions Spurs as a bidder. Daily Mail mentions interest in Bernard.

And a quote from the Atletico president (although not crystal clear the English side IS Spurs)

President Alexandre Kalil saying: "It's true that Dortmund have made a bid for Bernard but an English team [Tottenham] is closer to signing him"

When we get ITK it is just a snippet of information. We don't get the full story and the fact that we are not getting much ITK does not mean that nothing is happening. There has been speculation that many of the leaks have been plugged, especially since Harry left. That could explain why we haven't been kept up to date!!

If we are indeed the English club in for Bernard, it is quite an accolade in itself that we're in the market for a player Dortmund have identified and are ahead of them in the race as things stand. Of course we can offer the PL and higher wages, but their recruitment and player identification has been outstanding in the last few years.

What you are saying means that Real Madrid or any other club can just go to Bale's agent and agree his wages without us knowing.

I'm not sure why Levy would be talking to Barnard's agent rather than going to his club first and agreeing the fee.

even tho we have the ITKers (thank you all ITKers for your work) we don't ever REALLY know whats going in, so who is to say we haven't.

No one here has any proof that Levy is speaking, if he is indeed speaking, to the player's agent without the permission of the player's club.

you're not accepting news stories as sources but would accept someone posting on a forum?

I'm only suggesting there are established links between the club and player.
