That's the problem with this thread. The ITKS get noshed on way too much. The moment you even very dare yourself to question them you get slapped in the face with A&C's 9inch ban stick.
It's 12 inches actually. I keep being told size doesn't matter.......... I'm not sure I believe that though

play the ball, not the man. simples. i don't think anyone has ever said you can't question the info, just not slate the person who provides it..

wasn't being entirely serious mate but yes your ITK thread morals are spot on! Commend yourself. maybe even a little pat on the back for being a good boy on sunday morning.

I don't get the sherwood hate... What's he supposed to have done? Seems to me that we've had less likable men in the hot seat.

I agree. no one actually knows whether he is a **** or not, all they seem to be basing it on is that he is/was/maybe a gyspy fan, and that he wasn't a great player for us.

Who cares if he has power, who cares what his standing in the club is. Who cares if he holds Daniel Levys cock for him while he goes for a piss. I couldn't give a toss if we do well as a club.

As I'm originally from Oxford, it's my moral duty to despise Swindon Town FC. My did we have to join forces with that bunch of idiots? (I'm sure they're all lovely people really)

I do, because if it means that Levy is listening to him rather than to the the head coach, I don't think that is good imo. Couldn't care less if he was Arsenal player. Dennis Bergkamp was a spurs fan but played for Arsenal but he is one of my favourite players ever.

I am sure that he is listening to both of them, and i'm presuming that this is why Baldini was brought in to act as a medium/go between the lot of them.

As I said, as long as we are performing on the pitch, making strides as a club, which we really seem to be doing, I really couldn't care less!!

Sherwood is an intergral part of the team. He does not seem to want a managers job though as we had the hoo-ha on how to replace inglethorpe mid season. Sherwood left it up to mckenna and ramsey to cover the u21s/u19s.

on the transfer front gomes has been given permission to speak to a few teams. He is a fussy bloke so no guarentees he will go sadly.

if the negredo ITK from yesterday is true then that sheds more doubt on the idea of 433 next season. Seville played with wide men and Ngredo is poachers that feeds off crosses. Signing him would suggest that we are sticking with more traditional wide men putting crosses.

Sherwood's job isn't on the line if we are not performing on the pitch, for that reason he should keep his beak out of it. Performing on the pitch and making strides as a club? Hmm not really we're after top four and we came 5th, that is failure. Not saying it wasn't a good effort but we did fail.

Sherwood would definitely get my support if he ever became manager. My only worry is that a lot of supporters probably wouldn't have a lot of patience, and at the first sign of trouble would turn on Sherwood and Levy.

No it's not you are quite right. It's the head coached job on the line, and rightly so. I am also sure that Levy is listening to AVB with regards to targets, which is why we pursued an ageing, coming off of a broken leg David Villa so much because it what AVB wanted.

I think highest points total and closer to the teams in front of us suggest otherwise.

I agree with you. Daniel Levy is no fool, and while I don't agree with everything he does, he has made some big mistakes, but there is obviously a reason that he listens to and rates Sherwood very highly. He obviously has a lot of respect within the game.

I don't know much about Sherwood's role nowadays but as a Tottenham player I absolutely detested him. He was so frustrating to watch. My abiding memory is of him standing in midfield vigorously pointing at his team mates and barking instructions, but contributing very little when the ball actually appeared at his feet.

To be fair it was only slightly higher than the points gained in a season where we completely fucked the last quarter.

I agree with you on the point about Villa though.
