AVB must be announced soon surely? I dont think Akqayid would pit his balls on the line by suggesting we put our hard earned cash down at the bookies unless it was a guarantee. I was really keen on AVB until the press put me off (sign of things to come). Hopefully JJ will clarify who we approached and how negotiations really went after it has all been announced.

I hope not! After listening to him on the BBC yesterday I think we should stay well clear of Jurgen. IMO clueless!!!! He was saying Veloso and Mirales work so hard and both had an excellent match. I thought they were both shocking and couldn't deal with the pace of the game. Even Hanson noticed Veloso looked bigger and slower than Hudd last night.

Well he asked Moyes about the links and he is currently at a club, so I can't see any problems with asking AVB.

Modric need to be sold as soon as possible and we should look the fill the avoid before pre-season. I can't see anyone better than him in this position at the moment. I ironicaly trust our powerfull scouting network to find a gem.

The only hold up i would imagine is if someone like City tried to tap him up, but that said, who is gonna turn down Real Madrid?
