The last couple of windows we have had last minute interest in a few Chelsea players, they have not happened, it feels like they just want to waste our time.

I don't think there's an unwillingness to spend money, we just have a massive problem of a lot of players we need to shift out.

I think that if you are expecting Ange to be here for 5 years, and that you are going to spend a couple of seasons building a team in his image in order to win something serious, then yes we've done the minimum necessary in window 1 to fill at least a couple of glaring holes and shift a few players out, albeit on loan. But we almost certainly could have got ahead of the curve this month. Now we probably need to strengthen again in January when everything is more difficult rather than planning (lol) properly for next summer for the next step.

Thanks WLB!! Why are we letting Sanchez talk to a club if we are seemingly not replacing him?? We would be even more screwed without our only cb backup who actually has any pace
Because some clown upstairs only cares about money and making profit unfortunately.

8:30 and it's all going pear-shaped again... 🙄
It was pear-shaped hours ago, let’s be real.
Why does everyone keep saying we didn't sign a CB?? Did the advent of the internet reduce everyone memory down to a 5 minute time span? We signed VDV and Phillips. No we didn't sign two seniors but I doubt VDV would have signed if he wasn't going to be first choice.
Window as a whole was actually very good (with exception to the Kane situation). We have fewer gaps in our squad and fewer questions to answer with the performances of Udogie, Royal and Porro at Fullback and we've had 13 players leave during this window.
Its a better window than some of our previous windows
Because since the Kane sale we’ve heard they wanted a forward, CB and perhaps one other. The forward arrived today, there won’t be another.

If this window was to “future proof” ourselves for future window against the spiralling transfer fees, Daniel COYS is going to be fun squared next year ain’t he? 😂

How much do they want for Chalobah?
What is reasonable at this stage?
What’s the point, you’ll be over paying for someone that was likely never really on the list and we’ll no doubt struggle to get rid of in a few years time.

Spend your season scouting, target the players early in the summer, spend the end of the window dealing with the outgoings. Don’t make it known that you’ll pay players off if they don’t choose to move on, giving zero incentive to leave.

It’s like we started off like we knew what we were doing, then shit ourselves.

The question I have - who, specifically, is responsible for finding new teams for players? I know the players and agents play a role, but who at Spurs is responsible?

The problem is holding the players too long. We never refreshed the squad for long enough and it had led to this position.
