Damn, it looks like the 2 & 1/2 months that we had to sort all of this out has defeated us…again. If only this had happened before and the powers that he could have had chance to learn from this and not leave another manager short of what they might require to have a decent squad.

Meh........I'm switching off from here before all the Levy ranting kicks in. Yes he makes bad mistakes and yes ENIC OUT but I still give the window a 7/10.
Hopefully we can still get a couple of contracts gone/torn up to put us in a better place. I disagree that we have had a "bad" window - Kane didnt want to be here and we clearly have money to spend as evidenced by the Johnson deal. It was always going to challenging to remove all the deadwood/rectify Hitchen's/Levy's/Poch's mistakes. I think the recruitment ins since Paratici got involved have been excellent, we are still paying for mistakes like Ndombele.

As a former Ange sceptic he has impressed me so far and our first XI is very strong. Im still confident for the season and we go again in these threads in January....

Am I missing something, Liverpool have just paid £34.3m for Ryan Gravenberch who had one season
at Bayern and only started three Bundesliga games, having joined them for 18.5m euros from Ajax last summer. That’s mental!
I think Forest have been extremely shrewd with getting Hudson Odoi in though for £5m, top player in there if cooper can get him going.

If Hudson Odoi can stay fit think that’s a good bit of business was for Forest.

Baldy out and all that but some positives:

- Dier and Sanchez leaving on a free next summer which will force us to replace them either with youth or in the transfer market
- Bryan is still here. I think he could do well in this system.
- Johnson gives us another option so at least we've got plenty of players to come on from the bench
- Bentancur back soon
- Better to sign nobody than to clog up the squad with more dogshit. At least Levy won't be able to fall back on this excuse next summer.

He’s messed around all window and everyone was saying he was waiting for today to ship out our non-HG players. He managed nothing on that front.

He’s had multiple players offered today but didn’t like the deals.

He pulled the plug on other details last minute after they were all agreed.

We don’t have any CBs capable of stepping into the system.

We’re going to have to not name several players in the squad, further “depreciating” those assets.

It’s all a mess and it’s all on Levy.
