Give it up, Gas- it’s over.

Hoping he’ll remedy the situation is like being fuck ugly yet dreaming the beautiful person you work with, whose never shown an interest in fuck ugly people, barely ever looks at you, will inexplicably ask you out

Awful team selection. Awful tactics. Unbearable pressure built from the 20th minute onwards it was just a matter of time until Liverpool scored - and he persisted with a flawed system that gave the game to Liverpool. Once we made it to half time intact (mainly due to 5 very good saves from Gazza) he should have reorganised personnel and tactics. Instead he sent out the same flawed team with the same flawed plan for the 2nd half. Why he continues to pick players who do not want to play for the club any more I do not know, and his selection of Winks and Sissoko in CM shows he really has no clue why our results and performance have been so bad since he first started regularly pairing them back in February. He somehow persuaded Levy to part with serious cash for Ndomeble and Lo Celso and yet left them on the bench until it was far too late, in favour of the want away Eriksen and the out of form Winks. Yesterday was a real acid test for me of how capable Poch is of being ruthless and regenerating a new team. He failed badly. He needs to ditch Aurier, Rose, Eriksen, Alderweireld, Wanyama and build a new team around players who want to be here. Offer Verts a decent new 2 year contract and ship him out if he doesn't sign it (I am sure he would).

If we are to play 4-3-3 he needs to play pace on either side of Kane, which he can easily do with Moura, Son and Sessegnon on the books:

Gazza
Foyth Sanchez Verts Davies
Ndombele DCM Lo Celso
Moura Kane Son
He could even be really ruthless and cash in on players like Winks, Dier or Dele to fund world class FBs / DCM. Whatever happens, we need to see a new team built with 100% commitment to the 'project'.

Good post however Verts is past it, he's looked slow this season, wouldn't be so quick handing him a new contract so quickly.

Thats a bit short sighted. We're in a good position in the grand scheme of things - we just need to make some hard decisions
11th place in the table, team can't buy a win, haven't won an away game since February, adrift of top four and no hope of qualifying for CL or winning it, and a manager past his best who along with his boss decided that for two windows we didn't need anyone in any other business both would probably have been sacked.

Well I was being daft, but no matter how bad things are, I can never understand actually wanting your team to lose.

Bit conjecturey. I think people need to move on from that - it was lauded as a masterstroke up until Poch started hinting about Utd/Madrid and the form went.

It was never a master stroke and who lauded it many of us on here said last year that it was a bad decision not to buy, they were right then and there right now.

Hmm... The form went when we lost key players to injury, and ended up flogging the remaining ones for the last 10 games. Something that could have been prevented by supplementing the squad over two windows.

Nor can I really, but if you had a crystal ball for two seconds, and it says we win away to Everton and then lose to SU at home with the same old selection and tactical problems in game... You can see that posters point.

It's prolonging our demise.

We can't hope for crumbs every week.

Poch had the chance to change his 'pattern', for want of a better phrase, in the last few weeks and has failed miserably.

There's not one ounce of evidence to suggest this will change. He won't even exclude Eriksen.

I'm sure if Lamela was fit yesterday he'd have started over Eriksen

Sheffield United really worries me. They are a proper outfit, and will look to out fox us.

Champions League Finalists worried about Sheffield United.

?
Sheffield Utd have taken some scalps this season, and played good, progressive football doing so. And they work and fight to a man. Dangerous team if you take them lightly.

If we carry on like we have been, it'll be another bad day.
