Hmm... The form went when we lost key players to injury, and ended up flogging the remaining ones for the last 10 games. Something that could have been prevented by supplementing the squad over two windows.

Well, arguably that was down to squad management. It wasn't like we ran out of players any more than City have done over the same period of time, and it comes down to ensuring you don't stretch your team.

A lot of our injuries come down to playing important players in unimportant games (Kane), or by running them into the ground by not rotating players correctly.

If we bought in January, we wouldn't have seen said player(s) until May anyway, such is his way.

Yes I agree which as I said to another poster I think is part of the problem

my views have changed, but you're on your usual ENIC attack

No chairman in his right mind will pay off that amount, or as has been mentioned not in 1 go. Also surely Levy must be thinking along the lines of there are players not pulling their weight, showing any passion or commitment on the pitch. YEP Poch is wrong picking them, and perhaps Levy should intervene and ask why he is selecting them.

The problem I see is will sacking Poch be the answer. Are these players just not playing for Poch, or the bottom line not playing for Tottenham Hotspur FC. if it's the later why pay any kind of compensation to sack a manager, possibly pay compensation to get another manager and be no better off.

I don't see why we should when this group of players should have been making strides to close the gap on the top two. We have some players who rather than ship out would benefit from new methods and a new voice.

It happened at Chelsea multiple times. Mourinhos last season they were in free fall and talking about ditching a number of their players, the following season they get a new coach who makes minimal changes and they win the title.

Now ripping things up and rebuilding MAY work out but why go through that when we are so close anyway?

the bolded above

Only Norwich have faced more shots than us this season. How shocking is that...how can Poch not see the CM problem and the formation and tactics are all so wrong

Lucas is probably the least creative forward player we have, not a good fit for the Eriksen role at all

Guess what Eriksen created yesterday, nothing. He had 61% passing accuracy and was dispossed 11 times, he has no pace to deal with Robertson and doesn't have the desire to play for this club so why couldn't Lucas play in that role...that role being on the right of midfield which I'm sure is position more suited to Lucas.

He’s different. Would Eriksen have scored a hat trick in demanding circumstances away from home in the semifinal of the Champions League?

The point is, playing Moura and Son wide of Kane really stretches a defence and enables a three man midfield of, say, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Sissoko to control the centre of the field

He doesn’t care anymore. He has prided himself on his fastidious approach to games in the past. There’s no way twats like me or you can recognise this fault and he doesn’t. This is someone extricating themselves from a relationship by forcing their partner to dump them because they’re so incredibly, passively shit- because on this occasion it suits them- they haven’t got the gumption to walk themselves

I'm worried that the club, Poch and players will start to accept defeat.

When he first arrived he knew he needed to change the mentality and make this team react badly to losses and others saying bad things about them. But now each defeat seems to be accepted with a shrug of the shoulders.

This.

Robertson isn't going to be bombing doen the flanks repeatedly if he's having to keep an eye on Lucas.

I'm not disputing this fact but with the lineup Poch put out there needed to be one specialist 'creative' player and so it was between Eriksen/Lamela/Lo Celso. If he'd started Ndombele then he wouldn't have needed to start Eriksen and we could have played Lucas. I guess it's all ifs and buts really.

You can’t play Moura and Kane together. Doesn’t work.

They both want to play centrally and they both look for the same space. Basically they cramp each others styles

Although this could also be because usually when they’ve played in tandem, Poch has played his shitty diamond with them up top as a partnership.

Not sure if can really recall Poch playing a 4-2-3-1 with a Moura as a proper right sided player.

Good post however Verts is past it, he's looked slow this season, wouldn't be so quick handing him a new contract so quickly.

not being funny but Toby didn't look great yesterday for pace, especially chasing back just before Aurier conceded the penalty

On the evidence of how both have performed this season Toby looks more assured and comfortable for me, he's been on a steady decline whilst Verts just looks past it.
