Any team that concedes 7 goals to Aston Villa is out of the title race as far as I’m concerned. I feel better now.

The last 2 games cost is the title. Its over now. We’ll be lucky with top 4 unless we dont have any more blips which im not holding my breath about.
After all there’s only 2/3rds of the season to play how can we possibly hope to catch Liverpool or any of the other top 4 contenders.

I mean, they are very much the favorites. Is it over? No but Liverpool are heavy favorites. We need to win our next 6 games leading into the return fixture against Liverpool(and we honestly have to win that too). But I think we have to act fast in the transfer window. We need a top quality CB still, who can play with the ball. If we can get one in time to have a gane or 2 under his belt for Liverpool, i’d feel better about our chances. Dier is solid enough but i think his shortcomings have been increasingly glaring recently.

You're an assclown.

You just come on here and spew nonsense, I get it's your schtick but no one's laughing. "We need to win our next 6 games" no we don't.

I think we should aim to win the next 25 matches in the league, just to be sure.

We must react tomoz and beat Leicester. Earlier i was thinking that we had to win and win with a bit of comfort of a couple of goals following the pool statement. In saying that we just need 3points no matter how we get it. The table is crazy we could find ourselves 9th very quickly its so tight. COYS. Lets prove we are up for a title fight.

Agree. Tomorrow really is a must win. If we don't win tomorrow, we're fourth.if we lose and ManUtd win, we're fifth!

Assclown? Eat shit. No one asked you. All you do is reply to me with dickhead comments. I get it it’s your schtick but no one’s laughing.

We do. Because Liverpool are far too good.

Ha. We had a tough run of fixtures in that period. We were never going to massively increase the GD.

We have until the end of January to try and increase that significantly.

Also were we ever going to smash City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool? Never. You are right, we have time to make amends in the next few.

Aim for the title and we have a pretty good chance to get top four.
I am more concerned with Manchester United`s form than Liverpool`s.

We need to remember how we looked at the end of last season. All the plaudits Arsenal were getting and what this season looked like for us, to be at the top and actually scaring Liverpool at Anfield is a huge improvement.

June 2020 we had a super unbalanced team, defensively all over the place, lack of leadership. The transition we have gone through in such a short time is quite remarkable. Ok, it's not to some fans taste because the football is expansive enough. But every good manager talks about building the foundations and unfortunately with Poch he didn't really know how to do this in the transfer market and kept playing the same team hoping it would work.

We now have an identity. We are super difficult to beat and i think that's great. We have a real leader in the middle of the park now in PEH and we also have some of the best attacking players in the world of football. On top of Serge and Hugo finding the best form of their careers, on top of Toby coming back to his best and Dier steadily improving.

Ok the league may be a step too far, but top 4 is a real possibility which i wouldn't have considered at the end of last season. A cup is a real possibility now we have a manager who can outsmart most tactically in a big game.

I feel we will finish 3rd this year, or potentially higher if we win these next two games and go injury free to key players. This sets us up massively for next season, key players will want to stay at this team working with Jose, big players will be attracted to come and play for us with Jose in charge and i'm pretty excited by the likes of Skipp, Dane Scarlett, Jack Clarke, Harvey White and Sess to see who out these can add to this squad and really push on.

4-0 today is the minimum i expect. Dier hat trick.

Our credentials will depend on how we respond to the past week. Step up, and we show our mettle and we are 100% a strong top 4 candidate. Draw or lose, talk of normal Tottenham will bleed back into our collective mentality. COYS, please be the former today

Agree we building a platform for future success but the league is a step too far this year imo.
But we should have enough about us to get top four and that is what I'm hoping for this year.

We could conceivably be 7th after the week-end if United and Chelsea win. City would have a game in hand. There's time to turn it around, but that just shows what a bad week will do in the league.
