It's all about core strength. Modric didn't have it in his first season and a half. But when he got it, he turned into a worldy...

Yeah but it's also about getting used to the physicality and preparing your body for the different type of challenges, after a while you automatically react.
Brad was supposedly getting all the lads doing Pilates from when he arrived and a lot of Pilates the exercises are focused on developing core strength, so I imagine they have had some core strength from various training routines and maybe developed more from that over time, but now they are reading potential challenges better and are getting used to dealing with it

Not to blow my own trumpet but well I'm going to.

Today we put out a team of players who wanted to fight for the win and when you're not on the top of your game as a team, a bit off form and low on confidence you need players to rally together.

The likes of:
Lloris,Fazio,Jan,Bentaleb,Mason,Lennon,Eriksen,Kane,Soldado fully exemplified why a massive work-rate pays off and today we put in our best performance of the season.

Very proud of the boys and long may it continue.

The right characters... Step forward the likes of:
Lloris,Rose,Jan,Dier,Walker,Nabil,Mason,Eriksen,Lamela,Kane

Today these guys showed why we need players who give 110% and really care that attitude + quality is a lethal combination.

Best performance of the season and best NLD performance for years dominated them from 1st minute to last should've been more than 2-1 and glad it was at least that as anything less would've been a disgrace.

Add Dembele too but he's only recently come into the side, Chadli is another.

I mentioned before i didn't see the right attitude from the likes of Kaboul,Capoue,Ade etc look how good we've been since we've stopped playing them.

Kane said after the game he's been mates with Ryan(Mason) for years and he enjoys playing at the moment as he's going out there a playing with his mates...makes a big difference if everyone is pulling in the right direction.

Potch needs a lot of credit for this!
