id prefer llorerente over leandro anyway. He would be fenominal* here.

bienvenidos Fernando, hemos sido esperandote

totally agree, Leandro looks like he has the goods but no European league experience worries me especially at the prices being discussed. Llorente much more suited to the PL and exactly what we need imho ...... not surprisingly thats why it will take a kings ransom to get him

Llorente has 1 year left on his contract and said he wants to leave, might bring him into the same price range as Leandro.

I'd be surprised if any deal for Llorente needed to rely on Modric being sold.

Yep, Lloris' dad said the same thing about the Modric move being necessary to his move too. Think people just assume that we're skint! JJ has already said that the Modders money isn't part of our overall transfer kitty.

I think fee wise your correct but the rumours about his wage demands have been suggesting he is looking for something north of £170k per week which makes it nigh on impossible for us

That was my thinking too. I suppose we could have come to an agreement for Llorente and the Spanish media have put 2 and 2 together and have come up with cinco.

Good effort! Take a look at the use of the verbs ser and estar though... Te hemos esperado, estabamos esperandote, hemos estado esperandote

He isn't needed.

What due to our abundance of strikers and attacking wide men? Sessegnon would be a great signing.

I can't update on LD at the moment for a few reasons. I must be out the loop on what's going on this weekend? Haven't heard about any of

No news is good news, maybe?

I read this as JJ saying that Aqka's info is wide of the mark as far as he is concerned.

i would prefer llorente over ade personally!! and go balls out for LD. We would be sorted up top for 4/5 season then. bring in Kane and corblimey slowly.

Yeah I don't get this either. I'm also not sure that it's up to Spurs to 'accelerate' his sale. That acceleration must come from the senors and senoritas (no just kidding...only senors) at Real.

Sessegnon isn't a striker, I see him as an attacking midfielder / second striker. We have two players that can play that position.

I suppose he could play from the right but not for me.

I think he's very versatile. Whilst yes he can play in the VdV/Sigurdsson role, he can also play upfront on his own (much better than Defoe can) and I've seen him have a couple of good games from wide positions.

Versatility is a massive asset, especially now that we've got rid of Pienaar and Kranjcar.
