Morning Tottenham Fans!!!
Confirming what we already know...
Excellent bit of business there, really happy with the younger, British players that we've been bringing in in recent seasons.

Ade can't be the only striker. We'd only have him, an unhappy and not-a-lone-striker Defoe and a not-Premiership-ready Kane.
We need a minimum of 2.
As much as I'd love Falcao it's just not going to happen. I think we'll get Adebayor and that will be it as far as strikers are concerned.
It had better not be, esp if he picks up a long term inury we're fooked.
Who's good enough to start in place of Adebayor but willing to sit the bench if Ade is healthy? Can't think of many, Defoe is probably the best we can do.
Apologies if this has already been dealt with but......
Akqayid tweeted this yesterday -

Falcao to spurs is done, trust me this is 100 percent done#THFC
Couldn't get on here yesterday. Any ideas if Akqa was shooting holes in it and the RT was to just take the piss? If so, is there a clue as to what his earlier tweet in is reference to?
Pick some names then?Defoe isn't really happy to sit on the bench though, and more importantly, is absolutely useless in the formation we will be playing. To say he is the best we can do is very silly.
Fletcher? Doyle? Moses? Sturridge? All would be better as a lone frontman and importantly would be happy to bide their time on the bench. Fletcher, Moses and Sturridge are also versatile enough to play across a front 3, so perhaps would not be benchwarming as much as Defoe.Who's good enough to start in place of Adebayor but willing to sit the bench if Ade is healthy? Agreed, if Adebayor gets injured we would be absolutely screwed.

Everything points towards Ade eventually being sealed, and I highly doubt we're going to bring in another big name unless a vdV-esque deal falls into our lap.
