Any ITKs said anything about Chelsea and Modric? Ballague is claiming Levy has stalled on Madrid after Chelsea have offered £40m+...

Good job that Ballague talks out of his arse...

Although competition for his signature will help inflate his price nicely.

Unfortunately, I believe AVBs latest comments that Kane will be our 3rd striker and that we will only bring in 1 striker this summer :(

Adebayor, Leandro or Llorente?

I don't see why this so is soo concerning, honestly i thought it was an outside chance for us to sign two top strikers this window, when we've so far not managed to sign one in 3+ years.

Few things like the outsourced inbound management.

This is where itk must go wrong. Here a snippet and think its that simple to transact.

If there is a spurs fan in here. It's your moral obligation to carry me to my plane.

It may be a case of trying for one of Leandro and Llorente and if we don't get them we get Ade. If we do get one of them then we may still go for Ade depending upon whether we get a good offer for Defoe. Just a theory on the 1 or 2 strikers debate.

Don't know if it's been mentioned already that Llorente and Martinez aren't included in Athletic squad against Betis

Loving Wishkah, the new Welshie - maybe even more unintelligible, if that's possible.
Top work on getting drunk and still managing to post. I can never seem to do it, I just squint at my phone with one eye, before giving up.
The amount if numbers I used to have in my phone where I'd be too drunk to type a name, so just put in a random letter, only to have no idea what it's all about when I find it some days later.

I like (what I can make of) the news though. It appears as though, at the very least, we're confident of getting at least one of our targets, apart from Ade.

Its concerning because although we haven't signed a striker in 3+ years, we still had established strikers in our squad, last season 3 (Defoe, Adebayor and Saha/Pav)
This year we currently only have 1 (Defoe - who can't play upfront on his own) and if we were to bring in another striker, then 2. But, this other striker, unless its Adebayor, will likely come from abroad, and who is to know if he will hit the ground running.

In my opinion, if AVB wants us to play 433, he needs to bring in 2 strikers, 1 that plays upfront as the target striker, and another that can play as either target or out wide cutting in.

But I can add some value,
Ymy emails in the car reviled a few things. One we have already singed a player. Us not in the uk yet cos we can't use him. I said a out this loc thingy. The other team has the right to. All on the funds but they. Ant as we havnt got the goods dictated y the thing document.

Also we paid in EUR. But that. Oils be for anythign as int players quote in both EUR and usd giving u option of Benicia from exchange rate. Also UK. Clubs do it depending where funds are held (aka pay in EUR cos we need EUR for our next transaction).

Believe It or not. Spelling was helped by predictive text

Love to see this posted in the RO section :ROFLMAO:

You assume we didn't pay for ade in EUR. Because obviously city's operating currency is not Gbp.
All I'm
Saying is that I don't know who

I'm sorry but if hes prepared to sit on his arse and rot in the reserves I'd sooner not sign him anyway, not the sort of character we need sat on a big 4 year contract at our club.
Is there not a simpler option here?
We sign him on a 2 year deal with City subsidising the wages over 2 years (as agreed) and have an option on the further 2 years. He usually goes to seed a year or two after joining a club permanently and this would give him an incentive to keep focused - after 2 years, we either exercise our option or he goes on a free (thus enabling him to get big wages again - an incentive to him to accept the deal instead of a 4 year deal). Either way, we get 2 years to find a replacement or to decide that he is worth silly money to keep.
