I think you've misunderstood my post. I pay close attention to everything JJ posts on here. He clearly gets his info from the top table. I'm just saying you only had to apply common sense to see that Bale was going, even if the finer points of the deal hadn't been thrashed out yet.

Good way of ensuring site traffic stays high on deadline day even though we have done a lot of business is to announce a huge potential signing the night before from the sites own ITK.

Reminds me of a clubcall advert or SSN hyping up their deadline day special and all seems a bit convenient.

Anyway fuck it. It's been a bad day some I'm going to believe it and get excited about us signing Mata or Draxler!

Honingstein said there is no release clause any more. He is usually pretty reliable.

Schalke chairman also said they'd sell him for 60m plus which doesn't jive with a release clause.

Perhaps, but after just pocketing a cool 100million Euro's and buying on the last day, I'd say waver we get in will be at an inflated price.

Although Grey Fox did allude that this deal might have been worked on for weeks so that would infer it would be Real Madrid related and comes back to Ozil and Di Maria.

Wasn't Falcao's transfer to Monaco just a year stop gap until he could go to Real? (as Atletico could not be seen selling to Real)
