All we need now is to get rid of the Dumb rating to really confuse Bromavinci!
Either that or ban the spunk guzzling fuck wit.

Actually the dislike was from Deufman who has been a member since Jan 2008 and made ZERO entries. WTF? Maybe a supporter for a rival club, reporter, NOB?
Can't see that happening! AVB just playing the media game with Mods. So, in his interview earlier, AVB was talking about how he planned to re-integrate Modric into the squad if his move didn't go through. If Modric stays, will he still want Moutinho, who he seems set on?
And can we all just take a moment to consider the awesomeness of those two playing in our midfield together.
It is obvious that Moutinho is a big target but I find it hard to believe that Porto would sell him this late in the transfer window.

Porto will have options to replace Moutinho the same way we will have options to replace Modric. Doesn't matter when it happens....Using Justin's logic then why does any club sell anyone who isn't surplus to requirements once preseason training begins then? It doesn't matter how late it is, deals can still be struck until the window shuts.

You mean two downgrades?I think Leandro is looking more likely than Ade at the moment. If Modric does go, Moutinho will be our number one target. Those two in would be some business.
Either that or ban the spunk guzzling fuck wit.
I was talking about Mr Pinks previous message. My (accidental) dislike of it put me head to head against JJ... don't think I'll win that somehow.
Pushed loads of buttons and think I've managed to remove my dislike (if thats possible)

Leandro's a good prospect but it's simple, not as good as Adebayor right now. I think we underestimate just how good Ade is. Leandro will have huge pressure on him as well; if he's the only striker we bring in. Ade+LD would be good business though. It's buying just Damiao that I have issues with.
As for the Modric/Moutinho situation, we have to set a deadline sometime. We cannot have another Berbatov situation. It looks increasingly likely RM won't be meeting our asking price and so I guess we'll have Modric staying. Whether he plays well (or at all) is a completely different issue. But it's not an issue that we can allow our other business to be affected by. But hypothetically let's say we reach an agreement with Madrid and Luka goes. Porto will know we have the 35m+ in the bank and will ask for a MASSIVE fee for Moutinho. Yes he's a good player. But is he worth the 25-30m figures being reported? Definitely not. He's not as good as Modric.
So essentially if we buy Leandro and Moutinho, that's an outlay of 45-50 million pounds for two players that are actually downgrades on last season's starters...

In pure terms you definitely have a valid point. But in terms of how we will play and how we used Modric most of the time, I honestly believe Moutinho wouldn't necessarily be less effective than Modric in his role as Modric was in his. Moutinho is better at the things we used to ask Modric do for 60-70% of his time.
I'm warming to the idea of Damiao too. Like you I have been very underwhelmed with his all round play, and in this respect Adebayor is superior, but as a pure finisher he's probably better than Adebayor, more in the Shearer, Van Nistleroy, Huntelaar mould, i.e. a pure No.9 and sometimes, especially the way we might play under AVB, with Bale providing the "Hulk" power (but from the left obviously) and VDV providing some guile, with us playing a higher tempo pressing game, further up the pitch maybe a pure striker (a la Falcao at Porto) might suit.
Maybe (and this more hope than guarantee) different horses, suiting slightly different courses.
So let's get ade then...he might be older than LD and be less of a saleable asset for levy but his cost in real terms won't be any more because his reduced transfer fee will offset his daft wages.
I think he's a better player. And despite the difficulties easier to secure than LD who's transfer has dragged on for years supposedly. He knows the league, is already settled and is proven in the Prem.
I think BC from the little i've seen LD is more like Sir Les than Shearer or RVN and that's not a terrible thing at all (he was in his prime an exceptional player) but I prefer an all rounder personally who interacts more with the other strikers...
