Would be a good time for another riot to kick off ..... this time up north thoughNewcastle probably looking forward to playing us, see their chance of starting with a win.

I'm confused. Defoe will be allowed to go when we get two strikers in...but he only has two years left on his deal? Does that mean we will extend his contract a further two years until we actually sign two strikers?
Glad to see we are such a disappointment for our owners and that they are really in it for the long haul.

Glad to see someone reading the same thing as me, but coming away with a - completely different - negative point of view...
where in "Told this week Enic thought they'd be long gone by now with Levys pension all sown up,they never forsaw roman and city happening, thought we would have been established cl club with stadium all sorted long ago ,club has simply not hit the heights to be worth what they needed it to be to get out." do you find that they're disappointed?
a revised plan maybe. unhappy? doubtful. Glass half full much?
Am I the only one to see the irony that Levy's own negotiation approach and conservatism in getting in the right players is probably the major reason that they have not met their objectives. There are a number of points in time when a bit more investment would have pushed things alongIt's always been the plan anyway. They wanted to get the club into the best position possible then sell for a big profit. I don't see anything wrong with that. As you say, it's just a case of having to revise their plan due to Mansour bin zayed al Nahyan City FC fucking everything up for everybody else.

yep, seems so. I think some people perhaps don't understand or else have a strange view of time. maybe they'll catch up?Wow, an old for pointing out info from the last page? Tough crowd.

They might give you an old label if you use the word "tweeter"I doubt it. In this age of social media these young kids think everything is old now. I've no doubt someone would get labelled old for posting a tweeter 5 seconds after it was tweeted.

And therein lies the flaw in your reasoning: expecting a degree of critical analysis in the evaluation of the relative position of our club. Much easier to scream 'I want a signing and I want it NOW!'.Probably not. It doesn't occur to you that City and Chelsea's net spends being respectively four and three times ours over the last seven seasons might have a great deal more to do with it, as Dragon suggests? I'm not sure that there's anything in his info we didn't already know or couldn't figure out for ourselves, but it all rings true enough.
There's more there Rob
