The more cases that arises, the more absurd it is that nothing is being done with City & Chelsea.

All this does is bring more spotlight onto them, whilst others get caught up, in petty investigations of their own.

If we are guilty and there is strong evidence, I imagine a trasnfer ban would be most likely?

I mean Chelsea did far more rule breaking when they got their transfer ban.
Levy would love that he probably beg to be charged🤣

City are going to get relegated mate, Chelsea might not be far behind them either.

If there's been wrong doing at the club then we will deservedly get punished.

Also people citing Chelsea and City 'getting away with it' - they won't.

If it's found we knowingly used/paid an unlicensed agent it most definitely is something to worry about.

If. I suspect it’s nothing more than trouble making.

While we are at it maybe they should go back and investigate how arsenal got promoted to the top division. If they are looking back in history?

My guess would certainly be a transfer ban and a fine. Not sure we'd be deducted points but maybe they will throw the book at us to. Of course this could get pretty bad for Levy also if he knew what he was doing ....

Yeah a penalty is almsot certain. A transfer ban would be my guess.

But this is where I have to scratch my head.

Chelsea showed persistent disregard for the rules. This, unless more come out, appears to be a one-time incident for us.

Chelsea got a two-window ban but then got it reduced. It didnlt even effect them as they signed loads of players before the ban took effect.

If we receive the same punsihment for that then it would be ridiiculous.

I have no issues accepting punishment. But I do when that punishment matches or is more extreme than what others received for worse offences.

Worth saying the Luton points deduction was after they were found guilty of 15 cases of misconduct, featuring payments to agents via a third party rather than official channels. Which seems rather more serous than what we're accused of. A one-window transfer ban seems the more likely outcome to me if we are found to be in the wrong here. And you'd think with a lot of FFP wriggle room, we'd be able to do a Chelsea and sign a lot of players if needed in advance of the ban coming potentially into effect.

Interestingly, one of Luton's illegal payments was to none other than a Mr. Sky Andrews....

Unfortunately from what it seems they weren't even digging into us, this situation just sort of fell into their lap. Im sure with that being said they wont pull their punches if we can't come up with a good enough defence. Reality is this is pretty much been served up on plate for them, the Chelsea and City situation is a lot more complex for them to deal with. Much like Everton, we would be an easy target to show the world that they are doing something about rule breaches.

Let’s hope so, but the question is how long will it take, if they keep sanctioning other clubs before them, then it’s ridiculous.
There needs to be a priority list.

They won't.

But what will their punishemnt look like? People have a right to be worried that they won't receive what is deserved

This case isn’t news to the FA, it was referred to them after the arbitration but they didn’t do anything further.

It's not about priority though, it's simply down to the complexity of each individual case and how long it takes to gather enough evidence to charge.

If we did the deed then we deserve punishment. I'd hazard a guess most clubs have done similar or breached rules in some way at some point. So wouldn't surprise me if stuff starts coming to light eventually.

Yes through lack of evidence. It is now being suggested they have found new evidence.

You realise how complex City's case is, right? It isn't as simple as Everton's nor this. It was over 100 breaches.

Please lads let's not get into the "what aboutery" that the likes of Everton, city etc are doing. If we broke rules we broke them, saying someone else broke bigger rules isn't a defence. It's like being in court and getting charged with robbing a car but telling the judge you can't charge me for that when my mate robs Banks and has never been charged.
If we're guilty we're guilty, end of.
